His eyes painfully opened.
After a few moments, his vision adjusted.
He heard a faint voice, "keith? Keith kogane?"
He sat up, "huh? Where am i?"
"The hospital son. Someone brought you here last night and left."
"What? Wheres lance?"
"I dont know who that is."
Suddenly, flash backs of the night before flooded into Keith's mind.
He had blurred memories of what happened.
He sat up and pulled the blanket off of him.
"Thankyou for your help, but I need to go."
"Your severely injured! Are you not in pain?"
"Oh! Your right. I'm sorry I'm just a little shaken up." Keith smiled politely.
"Good. Now rest up, I'm going to go make some calls."
Not even seconds later, keith took all the tubes off of him, and jumped out of the bed. He grabbed clean clothes laid out for him, quickly changed, and stood at the window. He struggled to open it, his wounds under the bandages are still new.
After finally getting the window open, keith turned galra.
He took a deep breath, and leaped out the window.
He fell a short distance, but landed on his feet, superhero style.
"Whered you go?"
Suddenly, a bright light shone from his chest.
It was the key lance gave him, he had it on a string around his neck.
Keith was surprised the hospital didnt take it off.
He placed it in his palm, and it started to float, pointing south west.
"I guess I'm following the key now..."
He took it off, and let go. Suddenly it zipped away.
The galran boy leaped from roof to roof of the buildings, trying his hardest to keep up.
"I'm coming lance."
