You thought you heard him say something. His lips barely moved so you weren't sure if he had actually spoken. You were about to ask him if he was okay. He did look a bit pale.
A sudden change in movement gave you a small shock. It took you a moment to comprehend what was happening. You could only feel his lips against yours. His lips?! Was he kissing you? No. Not possible. Was it a dream? All of it was starting to make you slightly dizzy... or was it the lack of air?
You hadn't even realized that you were just sitting there. You had completely zoned out. Tom apparently did realize it as he pulled away. The taste of him still lingered on.
His expression showed one thing only: fear.
