This was it.
Madara had won the war.
So why was he not happy?
Everyone was forever trapped in an endless dream except for himself and the one person he had brought to life, the only one he had wanted to spend the eternity with. However his love, his beauty wasn't happy, he no longer gave him those small warm smiles like he once had.
Before he had left that village.
His lover seemed to be empty, a dark void.
No matter what Madara did he never seemed to be happy, only gave him those sad, empty looks, looks of someone who had no will to live. Not after beeing brought back to life like this, his soul forcefully shoved out of the Edo Tensei body, giving him a real, living one. However his emotions seemed to have disappeared along with every single human beeing, trapped inside a cacoon of endless dream.
Tears long having dried up, having cried himself to sleep many times.
For the first time in his long life, Madara wanted to go back in time, to take everything he did back. To see his lover happy once again.
But it was too late.
He had won.
But lost all the same.
