" Learned it some time ago. You know it's loaded, right?" Dylan changes the subject. Chris stares in shock, surprised how he knows how to use a gun. Where did he even learn that? And why won't he say?
" You sure it's loaded?" Chris questions nervous...
A grin places itself on Dylan's face, happy he could catch the photo; his four friends on an adventure. They don't need him. With a sigh he sprints across the field, catching up with the group, moving to walk beside Chris, who leads the group for their adventure.
" How's it look?" Chris wonders, a smile on his face.
" Better without me." Dylan gives a half-assed laugh, staring at the ground.
" Lies," Chris scoffs, but not pushing it. He takes a glance at his friend once more before wrapping his arm around him tightly.
" Thanks," Dylan whispers softly, a little smile replacing the frown.
" Anytime, Dylan. Anytime."

Chris Chambers was the leader of the little gang and Gordie's/Dylan's best friend. He's from a bad family and everyone knew he was gonna turn out bad. Even Chris himself. Yet Dylan and Gordie always beg to differ.

Gordie Lachance has been quiet since his brother passed away in a geep accident not long ago. His parents haven't gotten over it. They barely notice Gordie, well less than before his brother Denny was alive.

Dylan Merrill the bother of John 'Ace' Merrill. When people hear that they run or look at the boy in disgust as if he had a choice of being related to the asshole. Ace is the leader of a gang called 'The Cobras' who terrorize the town. Chris' brother, 'Eyeball', and Vern's brother, Billy, are in the gang as well.
Dylan joined the gang a few years ago; Chris and Gordie got into it with Ace before Dylan made sure Ace couldn't have any babies, allowing the three to run away.
Vern Tessio

Vern Tessio was the youngest, most innocent, and the biggest out of everyone in the group. Though dependable he's the punching bag of the group. He's a year younger than the rest, making him eleven while the rest of the boys were twelve going onto thirteen.

Teddy Duchamp is the craziest guy they hang around. He hasn't had much of a chance in life. His dad was given fits of rage after coming back from war. He held Teddy's ear to a stove and almost burned it off once. It now looks like melting wax under his hair.
