Chapter Thirty Two

The guy Holly was talking to earlier, his name is Alex. He's 18 years old and turning 19 this summer while Holly turns 18. He's moving up from advance training this September so this is going to be his last month with Louis. She can't take her eyes off him. She's been staring at him the past 15 minutes without blinking.

When their training ended, Louis walks up to us, laughing along with Alex, much to Holly's delight. "Holly, yeah?" He asks and Holly nods, too eagerly.

"Will I be seeing you around here often?" He asks. Holly shrugs then turns to me.

"You came here to train, not to hit on girls. Didn't we talk about that?" Louis tells him, a smirk perking up i

On the corners of my mouth.

"Didnt we also talk about avoiding hypocrisy, coach?" He pats Louis' shoulder then turns, winking in my direction.

"Yeah, fine." Louis says, clearly not taking the conversation too seriously. After Louis finished fixing his clothes, he scooped the ball up in the middle of the field with one leg and held is in one hand. "Shall we?" He asks, leading me to the exit of the stadium.

"10 minutes, Holly." I shout before closing the door behind us. Louis opened the door of the storage room. He puts the ball on the top shelf. The whole room is like a little museum of the famous players who played at Wembley Stadium. In the far end of the room, a large picture of David Beckham with Peter is there.

"Peter met David?" I say without looking away from the portrait. Louis stood beside me and looked at the photo as well.

"Yeah, he didn't tell you?" He asks and I simply shook my head. "Well he did." He says. I smile and he ushers me out of the closet. He locks the door and puts it on the hook above the doorframe.

We went to the parking lot and waited for Holly there. She came out 20 minutes later, laughing along with Alex. I push the car horn, Holly looks up and says goodbye to Alex. She runs into the backseat and closes the door.

"He is beautiful, Meg. You have no idea." She says, feeling all giddy.

"Well what do you know," I turn to Louis as he starts the car. "Déjà Vou" he says. He turns to me with a smile before pulling out of the parking lot.

The moment I said that, I remember how Em used that one world, beautiful, to describe Louis on her first day in training. She was swooning and literally cried. She's seen no other like him. I begin to laugh to myself, causing 2 pairs of eyes to look at me.

"And she's lost in her own world," Louis says, turning into the freeway. "That's my girl, ladies and gentlemen." He murmurs before speeding down the road. He turns the radio on and a loud operatic voice booms through the speakers.

Never liked opera.

I pushed the buttons several times in search for a radio station. Holly's getting annoyed cause I've skipped a few songs she actually likes. I stop when a radio plays 'How Long Will I Love You' by Ellie Goulding. This song was in the movie About Time, the one we watched in the drive-in theater in Los Angeles.

"Of all the songs, Meg... This one," Holly says. I turn back to her with a smile, only to annoy her further. "I love it." She says through a sigh. We drive in silence till that moment on. My head leaned on the glass until I fell asleep.

I had a short, I think, dreamless sleep. I woke up and saw that we're infront of the apartment building. Louis' tapping my shoulder that we're finally here. When I got up, I went straight in while Louis locked the car and followed behind. Holly's holding a McDonald's bag and I assume they hit the drive thru before heading home.
