Chapter 18- Fights

*Adrien's POV*

"Ahh there they are, Troublemakers welcome back" Master Yin said and opened his arms.

We all turned around and gasped. Marinette and Nino were walking down the steps towards us dressed in the black outfit. Their hands were folded behind their backs as they walked forward with their heads and bodies straight, as well as their faces. Alya tried asking them what was happening but they just ingored her and kept walking; we had to move out of the way because they wouldn't walk around us.

"Uncle" Mari and Nino said and bowed

Wait- Uncle!?!

"Uncle!?!" we yelled in shock

"Shhhh" the three in black shushed

"Yes, Marinette is my niece and Nino is practically my nephew and they will be helping you" Master Yin said

"Oh" we responded

"So I heard that you guys fence, am I correct?" Master Yin asked

"Yes" we responded

"Who?"

All the boys raised their hands, besides Nino.

"Ok all the fencers stand over here" Master Yin pointed to the right of him, the left of us. We all moved a bit to the left and lined up in a shoulder to shoulder line.

"Who is the top fencer?" Master Yin asked us

"Me" I said, raising my hand while everyone said my name.

"Ok, lets see what you got" he said

I was confused. Who was I going up against? And with what?

"Here" Mari said emotionless, handing me a fencing sword.

"Thanks princess" I said and she glared at me.

What did I do? Why did she glare?

Mari walked inbetween us and Mater Yin and faced no one.

"What are you waiting for kid?" Master Yin asked

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Your going up against Mari yet you're just standing there"

"What?" I asked surprised

"You're going up against your girl" Kim teased and pushed me towards her.

I walked infront of where she was facing and she got into a fighting stance.

"I don't want to fight you" I whispered to her

"You will" she sternly said

"Why are you acting like this?" I asked confused and frustrated.

"Fight!" Master Yin yelled

"Because" she responded coldly and charged at me.

I blocked her the first time but the rest? Not once. I don't even think I got close to poking her with the bendy sword. I went to charge at her again but I stopped mid-charge realizing I had no sword.

I looked up and saw that Mari had my sword. I stood there shocked at how my princess just beat ME, the best fencer and Chat Noir. Mari threw each sword in the air and jumped in the air, spinning and kicked them, sending each one back onto the racks they came from. She bowed to my frozen figure and walked back to the girls who were shocked. I snapped out of it and walked back to the guys who were shocked as well.

"Now that was boring, this is what you'll be like when you're done training. These are the 2 best fighters in China so do NOT mess with them, got it?" Master Yin asked

"Yes Master" we all said eager to meet the 2 best fighters in China.

"I can't believe we are getting taught how to fight by the best fighters in China" Max said excitedly

"They will fight each other first as an example to you for what you will be learning" Master Yin explained

"I wonder who they are" Rose said

"Ready? Fight!!" Master Yin yelled as two samurai swords were thrown the air.

We all watched as the swords slowly came down to the ground as two figures jumped in the air and grabbed them.

"Holy shit" we all whispered in shock

They spun around in a circle and swung at each other, their swords clanking. The girl flipped back on one hand and swung again once she saw her opponent. The girl had a serious look on her face that sent shivers down my spine. The girl swung at the guy and he dodged it but the girl twisted her sword, cutting him slightly deep on the side. The guy didn't even react to the cut but we winced, even if we weren't hurt. The guy came back at the girl and they kept flipping and dodging each swing from one another. The guy swung at the girl and she turned away but the sword still cut her upper arm.

"Why are they doing this?" I asked

"I never would've thought it was them" Kim said

"They need to stop, I can't look at this anymore" Alya said and we all agreed

We turned back to the fight only to gasp. Mari was standing there with a sword in each hand over a body.

"Nino!!" Alya yelled as she ran up to the unconsious boy under Mari.

"What the hell!?!" Alya yelled at Mari

"Chill" Mari said with annoyance in her voice and tapped Nino's head with her foot.

Nino groaned and woke up.

"Dude I thought we agreed that no one would get knocked out. You just had to try and impress your girlfriend." Mari sighed, leaning over him.

"And you didn't with your boyfriend?" Nino retorted

"I didn't need to, we all know I'm better than you" Mari said smugly

"How?"

Mari took the swords and stabbed them right next to him, one on each side of his head. We all gasped in shock.

"Because I have the swords" Mari said, smirking

"Ok ok" Nino said, his hands up surrendering

"Get up nerd, you have a huge cut" Mari said, taking the swords out of the concrete.........yes you heard me, CONCRETE. She stabbed fucking concrete!!

"Oh really? I had NO IDEA. I definately can't feel it" Nino said sarcastically.

"Good cuz we were trained not to be focused on our injuries" Mari said with an wink and threw Nino a sword, which he caught while chuckling.
