"DADDY" Rae screams in pain from her room

It's the middle of the night and her screams wake me up. I notice Daniel isn't awake so I wake him up

"Dani wake up" I say shaking him up

"Im awake!!! What's happening!!!"

"Rae she was yelling for you. She sounds like she's in pain"

"Shit I'll be right back"

He hurriedly leaves the room and I hear Rae cry and then throw up

I stand up and find Daniel and Rae in the bathroom

"Is she okay" I ask seeing her hovered over the toilet with Daniel rubbing her back

"She keeps throwing up. She probably has the stomach bug"

"Aw"

"Kay Kay" she says sadly

"Hi Rae it's going to be okay"

"Can I have a hug"

"of course" I walk over and hug her

She quickly gets out of the hug to throw up

"This doesn't feel good" she says

"I know it's awful but you're okay"

"Hey can you stay here for a minute I want to get her medicine and wash her sheets" Daniel asks me

"Of course"

He leaves and I sit on the bathroom floor with Rae

"What did you eat last night"

"I don't remember"

"Do you know where you went"

"No"

"That's okay. Maybe you ate something your allergic to"

"I don't know. I don't like throwing up"

"Trust me I know"

She throws up again and cries

"Hey don't cry it's okay"

"No it's not" she starts to cry and I quickly hug her

"Shh you'll be fine"

"Tha-Thank you"

"I love you Rae okay. It's going to be over soon. Daddy's washing your sheets and they'll be all nice and warm for you and he'll give you medicine so it stops. And then tomorrow we get to take care of you"

"Ca-can you sleep with me after"

"Of course and we'll leave a bucket just in case okay"

"Okay"

She throws up one more time and Daniel comes back with medicine

"Baby take this" he gives her medicine and she pushes it away

"Ew that's gross"

"It will make you feel better" I tell her

"No it won't it's disgusting"

"Rae look at me" I tell her

She looks at me sadly

"One moment of disgust or a long while of throwing up"

"Give me the medicine"

"Good girl it's going to feel a lot better I promise"

She takes the medicine and I quickly give her water

"Thank you"

"You're welcome... Dani go to bed I can take care of her"

"Are you sure"

"Yes you look really tired go"

"I love you" he kisses me gently and walks out of the bathroom

"How do you feel"

"A little better"

"once you feel absolutely 100% better we'll go to bed okay?"

"Okay"
