hey, is there a problem?
Hindi pa ako nakareply sa kanya ay nakita kong tumawag na si Juan kaya sinagot ko ito kagad
"Hello? Is there a problem Eva?" Juan then asked after I answered
"Um, it's just.... you didn't tell me na your shirt has your last name pala on it" Sabi ko sa kanya
"Yeah and what about it?" He asked again and napakagat ako sa labi ko kasi I don't really know how am I going to say this to him. Nakakahiya.
"Uh-- ano kasi, um.... people..... gonna see me wearing a shirt na may apilyedo mo nakalagay and.... you know.. alam mo baka ano isipin nila?" Kinakabahan kong sabi sa kanya because I also don't know how Juan's going to react sa sinabi ko
"Oh, do you want me to get you another shirt? Kase I'll get you another one" Dinig kong tugon niya and lumaki naman mga mata ko
"No!" Bigla kong salita sa kanya "...I mean, nevermind na lang. Forget about it. Papalabas na'ko ng comfort room"
"Are you sure?"
"yup"
Inend ko na ang tawag and I let out a breath
kasi para akong tanga. If I tell him naman na I want another shirt, parang ang mean ko naman pakinggan tapos ang arte ko. And I don't want him to think of that. I'm just worried ano iisipin ng mga tao.
So I went out from the comfort room at bahala na kung ano yung sasabihin nila. Alangan naman na doon na lang talaga ako sa c.r mags-stay. Kaya nung lumabas na'ko ay I felt relieved na kaonti lang naman pala yung tao sa hallways and they're busy to notice me naman.
I reached to Juan's car and pagpasok ko, I heard him speak.
"Hey, are you okay?" Tanong niya and I nod my head "Yup, I'm fine"
"What did you say on the call pala? Are you worried what people might think if they see you with my last name on your back?"
Dahan-dahan naman akong tumango nang magsimula na'kong makaramdam ng hiya sa sarili ko. Damn.
"Let them people think what they're gonna think Eva. Assume what they want to assume. As long as they won't do something bad that can hurt you then that's fine. No need to worry" Sabi niya
Nagsimula naman din magmaneho si Juan and he just drove around the campus na lang since we don't even know too where we're heading to because both Juan and I, is sa 11 pa mags-start yung class namin.11:20 sa kanya.
So we just talked about anything like tungkol sa pagbabasketball niya, his family, my family, my Dad, pagiging model ko.
Nag-usap na rin kami iyong tungkol sa pag-aya niya sakin ng date. Tapos ang sabi ko sa kanya na I'm not yet ready to have formal dates with him kasi I just really wanted to get to know him muna talaga.
"But can still go out naman like just casual dates like alam mo yon, yung informal dates lang because I don't think I'm ready to have a formal date with you" Patuloy kong page-explain sa kanya
