As it turns out, Elvis was actually a total Germaphobe!
'When he would drink his coffee, he would always drink it close to the handle and not anywhere else, because everywhere else other people would drink.'
Because of his obsessive fear of germs. He would also avoid eating at other people's homes. When he did, he would bring his own silverware. He would do this even in restaurants.
