It was well known Elvis presley loved Flashy Clothes.
In 1952, Elvis began paying more attention to his appearance. He had long been fascinated with the flashy clothes available at Lansky's clothing store on Beale street.
Lansky's carried fancy, sharply-cut clothes in all different bright colour combinations.
While Elvis was still often shy and soft-spoken, he began to Re-invent himself, wearing dress slacks, shirts and jackets that were pink and black and other flashy combinations.
He also grew his hair longer, slicked it back and adopted sideburns.
