Chapter 13

Festival of the Stars

Sarada blinked her eyes a couple of times as she payed attention to her Mother explaining a beautiful festival that's going to happen tonight.

Her legs swung back and forth from the edge of the chair, her arms laid upon on top of her laps as her head was lifted up gazing and listening to every word she said.

"Now this festival usually happens during a full moon; basically at the same time once a full moon comes, all the stars are shown above which makes it looks more extraordinary. It happens every night at the top mountains. But the atmosphere around is very refreshing and calm. We're going to camp outside for the night as we walk up there. But first, we have to get ready and wear our kimonos for the festival to see personal cool items and try some delicious treats."

"Wow," She awed as her eyes glowed. "I can't wait...but...how come you never told me this before?" Raises an eyebrow.

"Well you see, this is my only free time out of my job. I can finally get a break after that movie which will be released soon." She sighed. Even though (Y/N) had a hard time making the details be perfect. It had to.

Walking over to her closet, (Y/N) brought out two beautiful colorful kimonos and turn around to face in front of Sarada showing off a smile.

"These kimonos where sent by Auntie Karin, very nice materials and it's quite fancy."

Sarada awed as she examined both of the dresses, only to be surprised as she looks back and forth from both of the dresses. She reached out feeling the clothing as she looks up to her Mother again, "There the same?"

She nods as she handed it over to her which was the smaller one for Sarada's natural size, and for (Y/N) had her own size as well.

"We can be twins; Like mother, like daughter. It's kind of part of the theme." She grinned.

Sarada didn't mind it all and agreed with it. After all, she was growing fond of this festival.

"Now go get dressed up while I'll get prepared to style your hair then mines."

"Okay Mom." Happily, she heads out of (Y/N)'s room to go enter her own instead and changed.

Looking back over the dress, she pretty well imagined of how she couldn't wait to join the fun out there.

The hairstyle was pretty simple to do for Sarada, only to have a small and very short pony tail with a red clip tied around only to have a cute white flower attached to it. Which was quite adorable.

"I kinda wish your hair was long, that way I could of messed with it more." (Y/N) teased.

"Maybe once I'm older. I still tend to keep it this way for now." Patting her head.

As Sarda stood away from the chair, (Y/N) sat down and thought of any ideas to style her hair. Something simple? Fancy? Cute? She weren't sure what to choose. (Y/N) wanted to impress Sarada since this was the first time going with a festival together. Then (Y/N) glanced over to Sarada through the mirror reflecting; until a smile appeared.
