Chapter 5 Keith's P.O.V

I knew I couldn't tell Pidge much about the sorting hat or that would ruin the fun. So I just avoided it, Nice Keith. I watch Coran lead the kids to the boats and I wave goodbye to Pidge. The were nearly halfway to school and Lance says"so.. What's up with you and that Katie girl? " I get a little red but thank god it too dark oupside for Lance to see my face real well. "Pidge is just a friend. " " A cute friend" He says. To witch I respond "Lance shut the quiznack up before I punch you. " He immediately shuts up. We get into the Hall and sit down. I sit down in the back by myself. Then all the first years come out at first I'm not paying attention then I hear"Katie Holt "I look up and there she is. She looks at me really nervously. I feel a little bad. The I sit and listen the sorting hat says" Hmm... You would make a nice Ravenclaw or mabey Slytherin. I kind of hope it's not Slytherin because they get picked on and someone that nice shouldn't deserve to get picked on. The I hear SLYTHERIN! And I feel a shiver run down my spine, so I decided that I'm going to be a true Gryffindor and protect her if anyone wants to hurt her they will have to go through me.
