Your POV:

I knew I was clumsy, but I didn't know I was this clumsy! I had gotten bruises and cuts all along my left arm, and I don't even remember getting the cuts. I do remember the Weasley twins tripping me accidentally when I had just woken up and started walking down the stairs, hence the bruises.

I got dressed and covered my arms with my Hogwarts uniform and my Gryffindor robes, as Hermione- my best friend and I had walked to the great hall for breakfast. We had sat down together towards the front of the table, closest to where the teachers sit. Harry and Ron sat across from us as the twins took their seats next to Ron. I reached in front of me to get to the breakfast food and put a small amount on my plate.

As I reached forward, my sleeves must have rode up as Hermione gasped. I looked at her with a question expression.

"What happened to your arm?" She asked somewhat loudly, capturing the attention of most of the Gryffindors.

"Godric Hermione, the twins tripped me when I got up yesterday morning." I rolled my eyes at the twins who just snickered in response.

Hermione had let it go but kept a close eye on my arm as she struck a conversation with Ron and Harry.

"You know, there's this myth that if you get a cut or a bruise, your soul mate also gets the same marking?" Ron smirked.

"Where'd you hear that? Your Einstein older brothers?"

"No actually, my mum told me. She had gotten a paper cut and my father also got the same paper cut. To this day they share each other's pain."

"This is real?" I rose my eyebrows.

"Yes, Y/N, our mother-" Fred started his sentence.

"Has never told a lie." George finished Fred's sentence.

"Whatever, I best get to class." I stood up and walked out of the Great Hall and headed towards the first Green House where Herbology would be taught by Professor Sprout.

I wasn't the first one waiting, in fact Draco Malfoy was also waiting by himself. He seemed to be hiding something and seemed rather jumpy, shedding his bad boy reputation.

"What's up with you Malfoy?" I asked while sitting down on a bench.

"Just peachy here Y/L/N." He had the same tone as he always carried in his voice.

"You seem a bit jumpy. You sure you're just peachy?" I giggled. He sighed and sat down beside me on the bench.
He removed his Slytherin robe and rolled up the sleeve of his white button-up shirt, he had identical marks to mine.

"Oh my god, Draco." I said as I looked carefully at the marks.

"You didn't call me Malfoy."

"Yeah, I guess I didn't." I bit my lip to try to hide my smile, which failed.

I stood up and took off my robe, leaving my arm exposed for him to see our identical markings.

"Woah." He gasped as he held my arm, bringing it closer to his face to fully see everything.

"What could this mean?" He asked, still eyeing all the bruises.

"Well, Ron said that his mom told him that people who are meant to be will get identical wounds, and that means they're soul mates and that they share pain."

"You really believe Weasley?" Draco chuckled, I giggled knowing how he didn't like the golden trio.

"Well what else could it mean? Both our arms are identical."

"I mean, it would be nice for us to be soul mates." He muttered quietly but I heard a bit of what he said. A blush crept its way to my cheeks.

"What was that?" I tried to bite back a smile.

"Would you like to skip class and go to the room of requirement with me?" He stood up and offered me his arm.

"I would love to."
