I fake a smile so he won't see.

Fred Weasley was famous at Hogwarts, mostly because first of all, he's a Weasley, and second because he pulled some pretty awesome pranks with his twin brother, George.

You had grown to have a crush on him, as he was kind, genuine and also really funny, but that was a given. The only problem was that he had his sights on someone else, Angelina Johnson, a Gryffindor girl who was on the quidditch team with him.

You and Fred were friends, but not best friends, he would always talk to you about how he was going to ask out Angelina, and you just faked a smile so he can't see that you were actually hurting inside.

I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about, and she's got everything that I have to live without.

Angelina was extremely beautiful. She had beautiful dark brown hair and matching eyes. What made her even more pretty was how kind she was. Despite your small jealousy towards her, she was very kind when you had to work on a project together. She didn't bother talking to you about Fred and their blooming relationship.

As you two talked in class, you couldn't help but think about how lucky she is, to have the one thing that you would die to have, but you were happy for her nonetheless, because you knew she would treat him well. Just like you would if you were the lucky one.

He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right. Wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night.

It was another sleepless night. Sometimes you lie awake just for the hell of it, but tonight wasn't one of those nights. You were thinking about how pink Fred's cheeks were when you told him a joke, making fun of Filch and Mrs. Norris. You were thinking of how fluid his words come out when he talks, and how his laugh is like music to your ears.

Little did he know you lied awake thinking of him and all his little details. Fred's been wrong about many things throughout his life, but when he says he's in love, that's one thing that he has correct.

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar, the only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

You decided to steal Harry's invisibility cloak, as he told you he would lend it to you anytime you wanted, because he knew sometimes you were restless at night and needed to explore. You went to the astronomy tower, where you got to stare endlessly at the night sky.

A shooting star passed by, you closed your eyes and wished for Fred to open his eyes and see you were the one who truly loved him, but you knew it would be a while for that to happen.

Can he tell that I can't breathe? There he goes, so perfectly.

"Hey y/n." Fred spoke quickly, walking by you swiftly to his next class with George right by his side. You pushed yourself back against the wall, slowly sliding down it.

Your breath getting stuck in your throat as you watched him walk so smoothly; so perfectly.

The kind of flawless I wish I could be.

You somehow always found yourself staring into a mirror, critiquing yourself. You didn't like this, you didn't like that. You wished you were flawless.

You wished your hair would flow smoothly behind you. You wished you were taller, or slimmer or shorter. It wasn't until you saw Fred walked with Angelina hand in hand that you really started to compare yourself to her.

(Don't compare yourself to anyone, you're beautiful the way you are!)

As I turn out the light, I'll put his picture down and maybe get some sleep tonight.

You hate to admit that you stare at a photo of you, George and Fred at lunch sometimes when you're feeling down about him being in the relationship with Angelina. How could you be like this? This has been going on for a solid month already, every night you would touch the still photo, stroking his cheek, wishing for him to actually be there with you, but you know it wasn't meant to be.
You got up, turned out the light in your dorm, and put the picture face down on your beside table, praying to get some good sleep tonight.

He's the time taken up, but there's never enough.  And he's all that I need to fall into.

You would find yourself getting obsessive. Your grades have slipped from its once high marks, you've distanced yourself from your friends, when you're in the Great Hall for dinner or breakfast, you always find yourself staring at the duo. A few times George had caught you staring, and you quickly looked away. He could tell something was off with you, as you stopped hanging out with him when Fred is off with Angelina.

You tried to leave the great hall quickly after making eye contact with George and to your dismay, he followed you out. You pressed yourself against the wall and he stood in front of you.

"What's wrong with you y/n? You look like you haven't slept in days, you stopped talking to all your friends. What's wrong? Clearly there's something."

"It's Fred, George. He's been taking up all my mind, my time, it's all I can focus on is him and he doesn't even know that I exist anymore, he's off with her all the time." You finally admitted to your sick obsession.

You finally admitted and it did feel good to finally get it out there.

"My god, y/n." He hugged you tightly, and you hugged him back.

"George, I'm sick. This is unhealthy. I look at a photo of him every night before bed. Sometimes I don't even get sleep at all. I cry myself to sleep some nights."

He shook his head.

"Y/n, you'll get through it. I'll help you through it. You just need to start sleeping and to get yourself back to the y/n we all know and love." He rubbed your arm and you nodded.

Fred walked by as if on cue, this time with no Angelina on his side.

"Fred, what's wrong?" You two finally made eye contact after who knows how long.

"Angelina broke up with me." He sighed. He came close to you and you couldn't help yourself, you cupped his cheeks and kissed his slightly chapped lips.

"I always knew there was a girl who fancied me, I just needed to find her." Fred smiled once you pulled away.
