Harry Potter One Shots

Lifesaver :: Bill Weasley

A/N: I just realized I haven't done Bill and Charlie stories in this book, I'll start to throw some in here :) I have more chapters started but am having writer's block... this story takes place during the sky battle :)

Bill and I walked through the front door of 4 Privet Drive to see the order and the golden trio standing in the empty kitchen.

Bill introduced himself to his younger brother's best friend, as they had never met. I knew Harry from when I competed as a champion during the tri wizard tournament, but haven't seen each other since. He hugged me, and whispered that it was nice to see me again. I nodded and agreed.

Bill stood behind me against the wall, as I stood in front of him as Mad Eye Moody explained that Fred, George, Mundungus, Ron, Hermione and I will all be taking polyjuice potion that'll transform us into Harry while we move him to the burrow.

Fred and George took it first, then Mundungus as I stepped forward and let go of Bill's hand, I took the potion and took a swig, instantly feeling strange as my body reformed into an identical shape to Harry.

Once everyone was transformed, we changed out of our outfits into one that matched Harry, Bill stood behind me and took my clothes, putting them inside of his coat pocket. Once I was changed, Bill took me outside, refusing to kiss me much to my dismay and picked me up, placing me on his dragon.

He got on in front of me as I held onto his waist tightly as he started to take off just as the others did, Mad Eye flew right past us as we twisted and turned away from Death Eater's aims.

As we were right over London, one of the green streaks of light struck Mad Eye, leaving him lifeless as the death eaters took his body with them. I clutched onto Bill tighter as he steered the dragon up higher and faster before one of us could get struck. Thankfully, we just missed Greyback, who attacked Bill once before, leaving nasty scars across his face, which I adored regardless.

I looked behind me to see death eaters pacing themselves behind us, and I couldn't help but let out a screech as I felt a pain in my back, one of them is using the cruciatus curse on me. Bill stopped steering the dragon, ripping his wand out and zapping the curse back at the death eager, who slowly lost power, the pain got stronger and my eyes weren't able to stay open.

"We're almost there." Bill said as London soon was out of view. Once we landed, Bill leaped from the dragon before picking me up bridal style and bringing me into one of the chairs in the living room of the burrow.

George was laying across the couch, his ear was zapped off, and blood was smeared across his face and clothes. Hermione ran from the doorway, taking her wand out and aiming it at me, slowly countering the curse as the pain slipped away.

Once it was fully gone I gasped for air as Bill reached forward and hugged me tighter than ever.

"I thought I was going to lose you." He whispered in my ear.

"You'll never lose me." I buried my head in his neck as we waited for the others to arrive.
