I remember tears streaming down your face when I said "I'll never let you go"
When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said "don't leave me here alone"
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight

Just close your eyes, the sun is going down
You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now
Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound

Don't you dare look out your window, darling everything's on fireThe war outside our door keeps raging onHold onto this lullaby even when the musics gone, gone

Karma was walking down the hall and walked into the living room to see a 6 year old boy, sitting on the couch." Noah? What are you doing up so late?" She asked as he looked at her with green eyes that were all teared up." I....I had a nightmare. A-And I can't sleep." He answered as he was shaking with fear. Karma frowned as she sat beside the little boy and pulled him into a hug." Its okay, you don't need to be afraid. They are just nightmares, they can't hurt you. I promise." She said as he sniffed. Karma then stood up, picking up the little boy. Noah held onto her, tightly as she took him to her room. She walked in and closed the door before setting Noah on the bed." Please don't leave me here alone." He said as she smiled softly. Karma then laid down next to him as he cuddled up to her. She wrapped an arm around the little boy as he fell asleep. Karma smiled softly." I'll never let you go..." She muttered before falling into a deep slumber, holding the boy close to her.
