Chapter 5

Rins p.o.v.
As i entered my house i heard my mother shouting at my father and shikamaru to get ready.
"Shikamaru go find your nicest clothes" my mom says
"Ill help him, you go get ready too" my dad says.
"I almost forgot about the dinner" i say letting the know im home
"Oh hi sweetie, go get ready. Wear something nice, like a dress" my mom tells me
"Hai" i tell her going to my room.
I grab a dress from my closet and head to the bathroom.
I hop in the shower washing away all the sweat from my missions.
I get out and dry myself, i put on my dress and begin drying my hair with the towel.
"Mah... how troublesome, its taking to long" i say to myself.
I put the the towel in the basket and use a simple wind justsu drying my hair completely.
I grab a hair tie and put my hair in a pony tail.
"Rin are you ready?" My mom calls
"Yes coming" i say as i head down stairs.
"Must you wear that to the dinner" my mother asks
"Ah i feel better with it on" i say putting my hand on my headband.
"Ok... anyways lets go, we dont want to be late" my mom says ushering us all out.
We enter the uchiha compound.
"Ah nara-chan" someone says
"Fugaku-sama sent me to escort you"
"Ok" i reply following him with my family.
We arrive at a door and he knocks
"Uncle ive brought them" the young kid says
"Thank you shisui" fugaku says before facing us and saying "welcome, thank you for joining us tonight" he says
"Thank you for inviting us" i tell him bowing slightly.
My family follow suit.
We enter his house and are lead to the dining room which already has lots of food placed.
We take a seat and wait for the other uchihas that are joing to atrive.
Sasuke and his mother enter
"Hello, its nice to meet you all. Im Mikoto and this is my son Sasuke" she tells us before sitting down.
"Nice to meet you as well, i am Rinmaru. This is my father shikaku and mother Yoshino. And my younger brother Shikamaru" i say.
She smiles back politely
"Sasuke go and get your elder brother" Fugaku demands roughly
"Yes father..." sasuke stands and walks out.
"We werent sure what you liked so Mikoto made a bit of everything" Fugaku says
"Thank you very much for inviting us, we are sure to love whatever has been made" my father says.
Itachi and sasuke enter and sit down near me.

"Thank you for the meal" we all chourse before digging in.
Everyone is very stiff and tense when saying something or moving.
"Onee-chan could you help me with the crab" shikamaru asks
"Of course" i say before moving my plate aside and grabbing his.
I hand it back
"Thank you onee-chan" shika says
"Your welcome" i tell him.
I look over at sasuke and see hes having trouble with his crab as well
"Ah sasuke-kun would you like some help" i say
"Yes please...." he says
I take his plate and prepare his crab
I could feel fugaku's anger.
"Thank you Nara-sama" he says before eating.

"So Nara-sans, I do hope you know why ive called you here" fugaku says

"yes I do... a marriage agreement" my father answers

itachi sputters out the tea he was just sipping and I slightly choke on my food but manage to look unfazed

"itachi control yourself" fugaku says sharply while glaring at itachi.

"sorry father" itachi says

"I think we should talk more bout the matter after we've finished eating" my father says

"very well" fugaku agrees

I look at itachi and see his face red.

I finish eating about the same time as everyone else.
