Chapter 36

Naruto's P.O.V.

after I defeated the one tail i grabbed gaara and we both fell, to weak and out of chakra to stand.

i see Kakashi-sensei, Sasuke,pakkun, sakura whoses still passed out along with genko, temari, and Kankuro

"where is she?" i ask

"she left" Kakashi tells me

i feel tears slip from my eyes, hating that she left without a goodbye.

trying to sit myself up but failing until Kakashi-sensei helps me

"you need to rest, I'll take you too the hospital" Kakashi tells me

still crying i nod and let him pick me up, kankuro picking up his brother and following us

i feel myself pass out, to tired and sad to try and stay awake.

Time skip

Rins P.O.V.

I had heard that Orochimaru now had sasuke with him, Itachi freaked out.

he wasn't ok with it at all, he wanted to go and find them so he could kill orochimaru.

but he held himself back took every mission he could, i began noticing his health was getting worse.

i wasn't sure why though, i ignored it. or at least tried but he always looked tired and so sickly.

he had just got back from a mission, and he kept coughing.

"whats wrong?" i finally ask

"nothing i just caught a cold" he tells me

i sigh and glare at him

i knew he could feel my glare but he didn't say anything

He lays down next to me and we both stay silent

"I'm dying" he finally says

i place my head onto my arm and look at him to continue

"My body can't handle the strain of my eyes..." he tells me

i had heard of this before from Itachi's mom, she had told the reason Fuguka (sp?) had stopped using his eyes due to it, he only used his eyes in emergencies

"how long?" i ask

"sasori is making some pill or something to give me more time, he's not sure and neither am I" he tells me truthfully still not looking at me.

i sit up and look at him.

"Itachi..." i say

"hn" he says

i sigh and glare at him climbing on top of him.

"look at me" i tell him

he looks up at me and i see his face red, unsure if he was blushing or just feeling sick.

"why didn't you tell me?" i ask

"i tried to... but whenever i tried i couldn't, i didn't want you to be upset" he tells me honestly his facing going back to his normal pale skin

he sits up and he stares at me directly in my eyes

he brings his hand up and wipes my face, i realize then i have tears slowly coming out of my eyes

"its ok" he tells me softly

"no its not" i tell him with my voice cracking

"shhhh" he tells me rubbing his thumbs across my cheeks.

i look at him trying to stop myself from crying.

"rin.." itachi says

i open my eyes and look at him only now realizing how close our faces are.

"you're an idiot" i tell him before hugging him

ok so this might be the last chapter of this book, and i will be posting book 2 soon, not completely sure if i should make a book 2.

and on with the story

Itachi's P.O.V.

as i was looking at rin cry i felt my heartache.

when she finally stopped for a bit and looked at me in the eyes my heart flipped.

i was about to kiss her when she called me an idiot, and hugged me

wrapping my arms around her waist i laid down and let her cry some more calling me a few more names.

sighing she stops and sits back up

"im sorry rin" i tell her

she gets off me and goes to the dresser.

she takes off her shirt and changes into on of mine like she usually does when we sleep

(she was not naked... she had a sports bra on)

i sit up and take off my cloak that i hadn't before.

rin comes and sits on the edge of the bed.

"rin..." i call out to her quietly

she ignores me

i walk to her and kneel so our faces are at the same level.

she looks at me with this sad eyes.

"im sorry i didn't tell you, i should've..." i told her

"yea you should've, i am your best friend..." she tells me

i hide the fact that i hated her calling me just her best friend.

i wanted to be more but i knew she didn't feel the same.

"Rin i want to be completely honest" i tell her deciding to tell her

"what?" she asks

"well i.." i was trying to speak and let her know but my face felt warm and i became tongue twisted.

"itachi ju-" she starts but i place my lips on hers

my eyes are closed but i could sense she was tense. i pulled away scared she now felt uncomfortable with me

i look at her and see her face in one of shock

"rin.." i say bringing her back from shock

"i'll ah go sleep in the other room" i tell her

"itachi" she says grabbing onto my wrist stopping me

she walks in front of me and looks up at my face that was most likely very red.

"look at me" she tells me

i look down at her.

and she kisses me, i kiss back and smile well kissing her.

we pull back and stare at each both seemingly very happy

"i love you Rinmaru" i tell her

"i love you too Weasel" she says giggling.

idk...

anyways the ship has officially sailed and the two have confessed.

i might just end this book and write a chapter explaining what happens.

if i continue i will be still going off the Naruto timeline but a few things will be different.
