Minato's P.O.V.
I watched as genko spoke
"haru is..." I knew what he was gunna say, so did Kakashi
"an idiot, he's fine a few stabs but nothing he cant handle
"what..." I asked confused
"yea his clan is known for their strength. these wounds would hardly kill him, hurt him yes but they wont kill him" genko says sighing
"I was scared when I couldn't find his heartbeat but I remember he told me his heart is very faint, but that's because his clan was trained to control their heartbeat, most people from his clan are sent on deadly missions, and so to avoid death they trained themselves to have minimal heartbeat" genko tells us
"that's amazing... I mean I wish he would've told us to" I say
"eh its a clan thing" genko says going back to tending rin
"rin just needs rest, she hasn't slept enough since we got here, her chakra is very low. how'd that happen?" He asks
"she used this amazing jutsu, I think it was from her clan" Kakashi tells him
"hmmmm I guess, anyways you guys should go rest, I already heard that the war has been won" genko tells us
Kakashi and I leave the tent, walking past baki.
he enters the med tent we just left.
"she was your student?" Kakashi asks
"yes for about a week, I never really taught her anything" I tell him.
"she's strong, despite her age" Kakashi says
"shes to young for you" I tell him jokingly
"sensei I wasn't..." Kakashi tries to explain
"hahaha I know you weren't, come one lets go eat" I say
Rin's P.O.V.
I felt weak. my body ached so much each time I tried to move, my eyes glued shut.
I could hear muffled talking, making out some of the words said.
the talking went on for about 10 minutes then it stopped
I heard faint cheers in the background, I then heard a voice...
'baki?' I thought as I opened my eyes finally
"eh baki what brings you here?" I ask trying to sit up but failing.
"Ah bird, stay down. you need to rest" genko tells me
"I wanted to thank you, because of you we've won... a lot of people are calling you shadow bird... im quite impressed" baki says
"everyone did their part to win this war, it wasn't just me" I tell him
"we'll talk more once you've rested, also lord-sama wishes to speak to you" baki tells me
"alright" I say nodding
"geez Bird when did you become so strong, I could see your shadow jutsu from here" genko says
"I don't know how I did it, I just..." I stopped once I remembered haru..
"Oh ummm I have to go, lots of people to tend to" genko says
I don't reply, I sit there thinking of haru.
someone groans from the bed beside me
"mother-" I hear harus voice
"HARU!!!!" I shout sitting up with a sharp pain going through my whole body
"why you shouting..." haru asks
"you idiot" I say and I start to cry
"what did I do?" he asks uncertain
"I thought you were dead....." I cry out
I see him get up off his bed and over to me slowly.
he sits beside me and holds my hand
"I aint dying before you" he tells me
I move my arms to around his neck and hug him the best I could with the amount of pain in them
"shhhh its alright, im here. always here for you" haru tells me rubbing my back
"idiot" I say
"move over, im climbing in" he tells me
I release him and move my sore body over
"I wish I could see your face..." Haru says holding onto my hand once he lays beside me on the small bed
"hmmm me too" I say brushing my thumb along his knuckle
I let my tiredness take over and sleep still holding onto harus hand
Genko's P.O.V.
after I finished checking on the others that came in for med I made my way back to Haru and Rin
i pushed open the curtain to see Haru and rin on the same bed holding hands asleep.
Looking at them, i feel my grip on the clipboard tighten.
Sighing i release my grip and walk over to them pulling the blanket from harus bed onto the both of them.
i fix rins mask that had began to fall of the right side of her face
"i really wish you knew how much i care about you..." i say turning around bumping into someone
"ah sorry.." i say looking at the man i had just bumped into "Dog?" i ask
"so you like rin?" he asks me
"uh yeah..." i say quietly
"sorry for walking in on that, but Minato says he wants to catch up with you" Kakashi tells me
"alright thanks" i say fixing my wolf mask and walking away to the food tent
"he's to the right side, tell him im going to help around" Kakashi says
"alright see you later" i say
