rin's P.O.V.
three months had passed and I was now back on missions, my friends and family still treating me like a child, worried that I would get hurt again.
I had been spending a lot of time with my 3 little brothers, and their friends.
I ended up volunteering at the academy a lot whenever I didn't have missions or something else going on.
"Alright thank you Nara-san, I can handle the rest. The Hokage would like to see you" Iruka tells me as he continues reorganizing papers.
"Ok Iruka-sensei, I'll see you next time than" I tell him
now in the hokages office waiting for what he has to tell me.
"Rin.... I have request, I wouldn't ask if I had another choice but im afraid you are the only one that I and danzo trust" he tells me
"what is it?" I ask
" I want to send you on a mission, not right away but in a couple years. for now you will track someone you will have to make trust you" he says
"just be straight forward, I have other things to do" Danzo says appearing
I bow and watch the 2 glare at each other
"why don't you tell her than" the hokage says
"very well" he says taking his glaring eyes from the hokage to me
"now Rinmaru Nara... I have chosen you for this mission because it would be best fit... you know the target... or at least you did, Itachi Uchiha... he has joined an organization that we need someone to gather intel... I think it would be easier for you to gain their trust." danzo says
I nod accepting what have been told
"but for this mission, you will need to leave everything, your family, friends, the entire village... to everyone you will seem to have betrayed the village..." the hokage says
I tense and think of the heartache it would cause for everyone.
"now this group of people are highly dangerous... they may one day be able to take over entire nations... they've already made people fear them..." Danzo continues
"this mission will be very long, and you wont ever be able to come home till it is complete... you cant contact anyone either nor tell anyone... the plan is for you to fake trying to kill me.." the hokage tells me
I take in all the information and think carefully
"is there anyone else?" I ask
"no... the last 4 people we sent were killed" he tells us
I sigh and nod "I agree, but give me a month notice before I have to start the mission, so I can have one day with each person" I ask
"very well" the hokage says
"good, now then I will be leaving... come and find me in a week so I can begin to teach you everything you will need to know" danzo says leaving before I could reply
"dear child... I wish you didn't" the hokage says with a large sigh of sadness
"there was no one else... and it is my duty to serve this village" I tell him
"go child, start to get ready to leave.. even if you have 2 years... it will seem like a short time" he says sounding wise
"Hai lord hokage" I say leaving to go home.

hey sorry for not updating anyways I hope you read this cuz there is going to be a large timeskip..
itll be one month before Naruto and others graduate from the academy
I will repeat in next chapter as well, also sorry this is so short. I wrote as quickly as I could well eating at a restaurant on my travels, had to write quick so I could post.
anyways the next chapters will be longer.
most are from 1500 to 3000 words long so this 700 word one seems really short
