Rin P.O.V.
We were now back in the village standing in the hokages office. Standing there quietly...
the Hokage was staring us seriously with what seemed very scary eyes. despite his frail looking self he seemed to have all the power in the world.
"what were you thinking Minato!" the hokages voice says startling us
"I.... I wasn't" Minato says disheartened
"They could have been killed! were you thinking of their safety? you should've just sent them to retrieve the scroll while you went on the S class mission!" The Hokage says raising his voice each word.
"I'm sorry Sarutobi" Sensei says
"You are so lucky nothing major happened to them, Think of what the Nara clan would do if they found out you had gotten their daughter killed for your stupidity!" Hokage says
"And what do you think the Shina family would do? we could've had a war!" the Hokage says
We listen to his anger rant cringing more and more.
"But, I am proud of what fine Ninja you three are, to be able to handle that situation so well. Genko and Rin I heard you two were of great help. and you too Haru... and for that I move you up to Chunin" the hokage says sighing
I smile brightly and look over at my two team mates that have the same grin on their faces as me.
"thank you Hokage-sama" we course bowing
"yes yes Minato for your irresponsible actions I remove you from your sensei position... and back to being a Jounin" The Hokage tells him
"No please Ho-" sensei cuts off Haru's argument
"Yes Sarutobi" Minato says
I look at Haru and Genko sad that Our sensei would be leaving us.
"Team 7, I will try to find you a new sensei as soon as possible but for now, Minato will continue to teach you, you will not be going on any missions outside the village until you have a new sensei" The Hokage tells us
"yes Hokage" I say
the other 2 agree and we look at the hokage, waiting for anything else.
"I ask you return the Anbu wear" The Hokage asks
we go into our bags and hand him the masks and the attire
"why is there blood? are you injured?" the hokage asks me
"no Hokage, I had to..." I trail off
"she killed two men in order to protect us from being detected" Haru says
The Hokages eyes widen and he stares at me, he's about to say something else when I huge pounding knock comes from the door.
"enter" the hokage says
the door opens and it reveals my family, and I think Haru's family, they rush over.
"Rinny? are you ok? are you hurt? Do you need a doctor? When did you last eat? did you drink enough water?" my mom asks examining my body
dad stares at me looking for any major injuries but he finds none
I glance over at Genko and see him feeling uncomfortable.
"I'm fine mom" I say before she pulls me into a hug
"Ask Genko..." I whisper into her ear and she releases me holding my cheek with tears in her eyes.
