prom night ; a special night where everyone is the center of attention . 

but , its not going for you . your date--specifically--your boyfriend was supposed to pick you up a billion hours ago , not really , but he was late , so , same thing . 

" late again , why is he always late . is it like a disease ? geez " you said tapping your foot while looking at your phone 

then right after you said that sentence the doorbell rang . you opened it and saw a panting gentleman  

" [ N - Name ] , im - im sorry im l-late . " he said catching his breath between every word . 

" dont worry , im used to it . " you said closing the door behind you leaving him behind 

" l - look im sorry " aomine said chasing you . 

" i said its okay right ? so just . ugh . " you said walking a lot more faster  he managed to grab your hand 

" im sorry okay ? it wont happen again . . okay ? " he said leaning so that the two of you are at the same height . 

" f-fine . but of you do it again . " you pouted moving away from him 

" ill do whatever you want me to do . " 

" okay . " you faced him .

at the party

everyone was at the dance floor slow dancing with their partners while you were at your table waiting for you date to return . when he did he had two glasses with punch in it  .

" ah . thanks " you said as he handed you the drink . took a sip at your beverage and took a glance at aomine which you caught looking at you .

" what ? " he said .

" you were looking . . " you said

" i wasnt . " he said drinking the punch .

" oh . heehee . you were totally staring . " you said laughing

" geez , lady , so persistent . " he replied

" hmph . fine . " you shrugged and waited for his reply .

" so what if i was ? " he looked at you having a tiny frown with a slight blush on his face , ypo almost spat out the punch that was currently in your mouth . 

" so youre admitting it . " 

" wanna dance ? " he looked at you ignoring the subject earlier . 

" aomine , dancing . does that two go together ? " you said smirking

" you wanna dance or not ? "

" id like to . " you said taking his hand that he had offered 

then the two of you went on the center and he landed his hand on your waist and the other on your hand . while you laid your hand on his neck and the other holding his hand . 

" i didnt know you could dance " 

" now you know " he smirked and spun you around 

then after the dance was over you went back to your table

after the party he walked you hjome just like he always does . then when you reached your house you said looking down  

" y'know . i , i wish the dance lasted a little longer . "

" why not dance now ? " he looked at you giving you his hand " would you like to dance ? "

" i'd love to " you smiled 

and you danced in the frontyard and after the dance was over he kissed you closing the gap that was between you two .

so , its monday again tomorrow . ugh =_= . i have to face people .
