Imagine you get shot (but survive)

"y/n run!" The Doctor yelled as a group of armed men were chasing you both. He quickly ran around the corner, with you trying to keep up. Unfortunately, one of the men had fired his gun at you. The scream that escaped your mouth made the The Doctor's blood go cold. He turned around and saw you clasping your hand around your wound as blood oozed out. "y/n!" He roared as he ran to you and picked you up. Soon enough, you had reached the Tardis and he quickly lay you on the floor as he took you to the nearest hospital. Once the Tardis was flying off, he walked over to you and knelt down. "I'm so stupid!" He yelled at himself. "Why did I ever let you come" He mumbled.

"This isn't your fault" You breathed heavily. You were trying to smile for him but the pain was too much.Your breathing became heavy and he knew you wouldn't last much longer. "Don't leave me" He cried. "Oh come on. Stop crying" You chuckled lightly. "Everything comes to an end. You should know that" You smiled at him. "Not you. You can't" He weeped. "Doctor, stop. You're making me feel depressed" You scoffed with a slight smile, earning a low chuckle from him.

As the Tardis landed he wiped his tears away before picking you up and rushing you into the hospital. "Emergency!" He yelled as he ran up to one of the doctors. "What's happened?" The blonde woman asked. "She got shot" The doctor whimpered as he removed his hand from your hip. "Oh my god" The woman gulped. "Sir I need you to hand her over immediately" The woman ordered. The doctor carefully placed you in her arms as she rushed you into one of the rooms. He then tried to walk in so he can stay with you but one of the doctors stopped him. "I'm sorry sir, you're going to have to wait outside whilst we remove the bullet and try and see if we can stitch her up" They explained before closing the door.

The doctor just stood there, not knowing what to do. He was angry at himself for ever agreeing to you leaving the Tardis when he knew there was a chance you might get hurt. As more tears rolled down his cheeks he sat down in the waiting area, head in his hands and sobbing quietly. He stayed in that position for quite a few hours until one of the nurses approached him. "Excuse me sir, we have completed the operation so you're now able to check up on her" The blonde woman smiled. The doctor slowly raised his head as he wiped away his tears with his sleeve. "Thanks" He muttered as he stood up and followed the nurse into your room. "She's asleep but should be waking up in a bit. If anything happens just call for help" The nurse explained before leaving the room.

The doctor gulped as he sat on the chair next to your bed and waited for you to awaken. He noticed your hand hanging from the bed and decided to take it in his, squeezing it gently. "I'm so sorry" He continued to sob, not knowing that you had woken up. "Oh shut up!" You chuckled as you slowly sat up. "y/n!" He yelled as he pulled you into a hug. "Doctor! My hip!" You shrieked causing him to pull away. You laughed at him and shook your head in amusement. "Can I,..- See?" He then asked. "Sure" You whispered as you lifted the piece of clothing that was covering your hip. The doctor flinched a little at the sight of your stitch. "That's. Massive" He stated. "Well I did get shot" You chuckled.

"Are you okay?" He then asked you. "Yeah" You nodded your head slightly. "Are you sure?" He questioned. "No" You laughed, shaking your head. "But I will be, I promise" You smiled at him. "y/n, I'm going to stay at home with you and help you recover" He sighed. "No you can't. You have adventures to be on and universes to explore" You snapped. "None of that is important if you're not with me to see it" He smiled. You looked at him and could feel tears begin to pool in your eyes. You knew at that exact moment that you were the luckiest person on earth, and you would never let the Doctor go.
