Broken 💔

Chapter 1

The tyranny of Homeworld is more present than ever. White Diamond was so convinced that Pink was still alive that she had the audacity to pull out Steven's gem. Connie screamed at the top of her lungs

"Steven! Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!"

The tears glistened in her eyes as she witnessed her best friend and crush being tortured. White Diamond just tossed Steven aside after the gem was pulled. The pain was too intense that he had already blacked out before she was even done

"Steven!" She broke free of White's grasp and ran over to Steven. She tried so desperately to bring him back. Eventually, he did come to but he had barely any energy. Most of his life force was sucked out of him

"Wh-where is it?" He lifted up his shirt but his gem was gone. He looked over and saw White holding it. It then reformed. But it wasn't into Pink Diamond. It took the form of Steven himself. Everyone was in complete shock. Even White. Steven then tried to walk toward it but he couldn't even take one step. He fell flat on his face. He was using any energy he could to make it across

"No, please! I need-I need it!" White was very confused. "Where's Pink?!" She was so convinced that she was right

"She's gone."

"What did you say?!"

"She's gooooooooooooooone!!!!!!" The Pink Steven created a huge crater where he was standing, throwing White off balance. Eventually she had enough

"That's it! Crystal Gems, go after Pink! I'll take care of these two." Amethyst, Garnet, and Pearl went sprinting towards Pink Steven and attacked him. Meanwhile, White picked up Connie in one hand and Steven in the other

"No, wait! Stop! Steven!" She constantly struggled but it was no use.  Steven was quickly losing energy. He could barely keep his eyes open now. He could faintly hear Connie yelling

"Steven, stay with me. We're going to get out of here!" Suddenly Bismuth, Lapis, and Peridot come rushing in. They all try to attack White. Peridot flings Bismuth up to get her from above. Bismuth spikes her on the head then Lapis holds her down. Steven and Connie are flung from her grip as everyone is released from White's mind control. Bismuth runs to catch Connie

"Woah, I got you!" Lapis then catches Steven

"I got you Steven." He wearily looked over at Lapis

"L-lapis?" He then went unconscious. Connie worriedly looked at him

"We need to get him out of here." The Crystal Gems rushed over to him

"Steven!" They all cried out simultaneously. They all then crawled out of the ship and went into Pinks. Connie never left Steven's side in the ship

"Don't worry Steven. We'll get you better again."
