Pearl warped to the barn and spotted Peridot outside. She seemed to be working on an invention. Pearl walked up to her. "Hello Peridot. Is Lapis here?"
Peridot looked up and took off her goggles. "Yeah she's on the roof. Is Steven okay?"
"That's what I wanted to talk to Lapis about."
"I'll go get her." Peridot merely stood up and looked in Lapis' direction. "HEY LAPIS!!!!!"
Lapis came flying down with an annoyed look on her face. "What?!" She then looked over and noticed Pearl's presence. "Oh, hey Pearl. Come on in." The two gems walked inside the barn. Lapis closed the door behind them for privacy. The two sat next to each other on the hammock
Lapis started to become curious and eagerly waited for Pearl to say something. "So what's up?"
"I'm so stressed out. I just needed to get away for a while. You know....be with a friend." Pearl looked up at Lapis and gave her a small smile. Lapis responded with a blush
"Well, I'm always here for you." Lapis put her arm around the gem and pulled her closer. Pearl leans in and rests her head on Lapis' shoulder. For the rest of the afternoon, no one said anything else as they gently swing on the hammock
