My phone rings and I look and see it is my dad. I pick it up.

"Hi dad."

"Hi sweet heart. Do you have plans for Christmas?"

"Well so far just me and the kids."

"You want to join me with your brother and Sammy?"

"Sure thing dad."

"I'll send you the details."

"Okay."

I hang up and it rings again. This time it was Maddie.

"Hi Maddie."

"It's hard to get you on the phone lately."

"Haha very funny."

"What are you doing for Christmas?"

"My dad just invite me over to them with Eddie and Sammy why?"

"I was hoping you'll spend it with me and Otis."

"What about the new fiance?"

"Well he has plans and Otis hasn't met him yet so I just try to keep it just me and him."

"And Mike?"

"Mike gets him for new years."

"Okay. I'll see what I can do."

"You better come please."

"Okay. I'll make a plan."

"Okay. See you tomorrow."

I hang up and it rings again. This time it's Mike. I chuckled and I pick up.

"Let me guess. You want me to be with you for Christmas?"

"Well you don't have to if you don't want to."

"But I do want to."

"Then will you come spend Christmas with me?"

"I already have 2 invitations."

"Well aren't you popular. It's okay. I will spend it with the guys and then alone."

"Mike. Do you want me to come over for Christmas or not?"

"If you have plans it's okay."

"Just ask me Mike."

I hear him laughing.

"Emma do you want to spend a part of Christmas with me?"

"You can get the night time. Is that a deal?"

"I'll take whatever I can get. Busy lady." he laughs which makes me laugh too.

"Alright. Night it is for you then."

"Thank you." he laughs. I hang up and then I texted Maddie and my dad.

"Dad. I'll be there for Christmas morning. But can't another time." I send and I texted Maddie.

"Maddie I can only be there at afternoon."

A text comes through from my dad.

"That's okay sweetheart."

And another one from Maddie.

"Fine."

I texted Mike.

"I'm all yours for Christmas night." I send it with a winky face.

He soon replies. 

"Can't wait." with a winky face too.

I chuckled and the kids and I went shopping for Christmas gifts.

We had quite a long list to go through and get gifts for everyone. Ty and Leila have been big help with helping choosing gifts for everyone. We had one gift left to buy and I was quite puzzled with it. So I called Maddie for some help.

"Hey babe. Don't tell me you're canceling now."

"No." I chuckled. "I need your help."

"With?"

"I need to buy Mike a gift."

"Ooh. Okay."

"Don't make that noise with me."

"Okay. With Mike you can buy anything flannel. Or hats. He loves it."

"Of course yes. I actually see something perfect for him right now."

"You're welcome."

"Thanks Maddie."

"No prob babe."

I hang up and grab a black hat with a red flannel shirt. We went to pay and I ask them to wrap it up for me. 

The kids and I were quite tired from our day of shopping. So we grabbed something to eat and we head on home. We ate and then we went to bed right after dinner.
