Edd looked a mix of sad and angry, Tom just looked uncomfortable, and Matt looked shocked.

Matt stepped forward and said your name, as though he wasn't sure you were really there.

"U-Uh. Hey, Matt." You managed.

"Hey, um, what are you doing home? It's ten am?" He asked.

"Got the day off. My coworker said I looked sick."

"Oh."

Matt flicked his eyes behind him, and Edd and Tom, and you swallowed.

"Do - Should I leave?" you asked.

"Well, it's-it's up to..."

Edd looked away before looking at Tom.

"Uh. We... we were planning on just staying here..." Tom said, and you realized you felt no attraction to him. Not anymore.

"Yeah. Okay. I'll-"

"You can stay." Edd said lowly.

Everyone turned in shock.

"I... What?"

"You live here right? You can stay. We'll just stay out here."

"Oh. Okay. I'll, um, be in the kitchen and... yeah."

You sat in the kitchen for two hours before you heard Tom say goodbye. Matt walked past the kitchen to the bathroom a few minutes later.

You were alone with Edd

And you could hear him walking to the kitchen.
