The sky was lit with colorful explosions. Tethered air balloons floated above the party spires, and torches lit the garden like bright snakes ascending the sloping sides.
Inside, the crowd's arms were up, waving back back and forth with the beat. Plastic cups were flying everywhere. The swarm of teenagers were all jumping up and down with the beat as the volume went higher and the bass deeper.
As she moved further in, she found herself moving with along with the crowd. She felt herself being pushed randomly through the throng and she closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling for the first time.
