Everything was a blur. I remember running. I ran, despite the agonizing pain i was in. Despite the throbbing in my head. Despite the crimson red liquid pouring out of the cuts and scrapes on my body.

I only stopped when I spotted, through my blurred vision, the little white house at the side of the road.

It made no sense why I came to him, but at that time, he was the only person I could think of. It was probably the drugs I was injected with.

I could see the shock and confusion on his face when he found me standing at his doorstep, shivering and bleeding.

Black dots started to seep in at the edge of my vision. Trying to keep my eyes open, I looked up at him, swaying slightly as I mumbled "...nowhere else to go..."

Then, everything faded away and I felt warm arms wrap around my limp body before darkness consumed me.
