The house was old, with wooden planks covering the floor. Boxes, old furniture and other miscellaneous items were scattered around. A layer of thick dust covered every surface and crevice. Nothing was left untouched by the dust. With a heavy sign, I got to work.

I sorted through the boxes, which were mostly full of clothes and books. Planning to take the books in the library upstairs, I headed towards the staircase and slowly walked up the rickety stairs. The wood groaned beneath me and the dust raised slightly.

I had a lot of cleaning to do before I even considered redecorating.
