Homework was for me an easy task. Most seemed to struggle with it, but I had no problem in completing it.
Yet, here I sat, empty and blank as I leaned my head on my hand. I closed my eyes, listening intently to the silence of my room.
No matter how hard I tried to focus, I couldn't. I shook my head, forcing my eyes to concentrate back on the notebook in front of me as I sat entranced by my quiet serene surrounding and the emptiness of my mind.
