"I hate maths", I whined, slamming my head onto the table.
Pretty much everything seemed more interesting right now, especially the children playing right outside the window. I mustered them, not paying attention to the teacher anymore. For some miraculous reason, my grades were okay, despite me drifting off all the time in classes. Maybe I should put in a little more effort – or not, the lesson was almost over anyway.
My attention shifted once again, this time to my phone or rather its lit up display, indicating a new message. Carefully, I slipped it out of my bag and into my lap.
Taeyong so are you up for some chicken nuggets?
So he was serious after all. What a weird excuse to hang out with me, sheesh. Before I could even think of an answer, he already sent another text.
Taeyong i'll be waiting at (bus stop) in 10
Since he'd even wait for me, I kind of felt obligated to say yes. Besides, as if I had anything better to do, lmao.

As the bell rang, I was already halfway out of the building. (A/N: why is this me tho) To my own surprise, none of my friends were in the hallways meaning I could meet up with Taeyong in peace. After what had happened at lunch, I was rather careful of what they witnessed.
Precisely as planned, I reached the bus stop where Taeyong already sat, presumably waiting for me. We greeted each other normally, neither of us acknowledging the weird atmosphere. The bus ride was filled with small talk which at least got rid of the awkwardness.
"So, why weren't you at lunch today?", I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me. Honestly, I was glad that he hadn't been there for Jaehyun's and Yuta's interrogation but I still wanted to know what he was up to.
"Didn't feel like it today. Besides, we're getting food now, aren't we?", Taeyong smiled and for a second, I could've forgotten all about our encounter as he sat there like an angel. But then his expression turned serious again and he was back to being Mr. "Dangerously-Hot". Sigh.
