As I had previously said, I've reworked the wording on that whole "I don't get along with girls"-thing because this story is in no way meant to put women down but encourage them and show how hurtful and wrong things like slutshaming are.

Of course I'm not the best writer and it can be really hard to portray things as you intend them to be, i.e. the fact that some people, myself included, just don't have a lot of female friends due to various reasons. However, how I had originally written the "villains" was just flat out bad and unoriginal. I have changed the wording in some chapters regarding them now, but I will not rework the entire story since a) this is rather lighthearted and none of the characters have a deep backstory that justifies their actions (except for Jackson) and b) all of them appear again in Looking for Love and actually do get a bit of character depth, so check that out if you're interested.

Also, as you may have noticed (and as it says in the disclaimer of the story), the characters are in no way intended to actually portray the idols they're based on looks-wise. Aside from maybe including some inside jokes, they are in no way meant to represent the actual people.

Do I think that Irene, Nayeon, Sana or Nancy are evil people? Absolutely not, I love Red Velvet, Twice and Momoland.

Do I think that Taeyong is some kind of fuckboy? No, because I don't know him.

Or do I think that any of the idols mentioned in the story would ever act this way? Probably not. I don't know them and fanfiction isn't about being realistic or writing a character as close to a real person as possible - I actually think that would be really creepy.

I chose the idols in this story based on their looks/aesthetics or for example: I don't think that Mark is as much of an innocent, gullible person as portrayed here. I simply took that little goofy bit of his public persona and amplified it to make a funny, likeable character that looks like him.

So yes, I just want to say once again that I did change the narrative that went against my own beliefs of girls-supporting-girls, but I want to clarify that I never chose any of the idols mentioned because I dislike them. Why would I include someone I don't even like in my own story?

Anyway, stay healthy, happy and always feel free to reach out!
