October 31, 2080.
Its halloween. I see students in their costumes as I head into the school. I walk towards my locker and I hear a commotion in the boys bathroom. I stop and look at the door. I then ignore it and I head to my locker. After opening it and grabbing a few books, I see a couple of boys come out and my eyes widen.
I see Taehyung with a bruised up eye. On the floor, while the other boys were laughing and making fun of him.
I then see the ring leader.
Jimin Park.
He has a lolillipop in his mouth and his collar's up. He's walking towards Taehyung.
He looks to him and scoffs.
"You're such a weirdo you know that?"
Taehyung looks up to him with a pitiful look.
"I did what you wanted. Leave me alone."
Jimin and his friends just laugh at his statement.
"I got a B on the paper you wrote for me. I needed an A to stay in the soccer team. You're lucky my coach just yelled at me and let me stay."
They all walk away laughing and I rush to Taehyungs side.
"Taehyung!? Oh my god, let's go to the nurses office!"
He just sits there leaning on the lockers.
"Come on Taehyung, let's go tell the principal."
Without blinking or moving he just looks straight ahead.
"No, I don't want to."
"Taehyung why? They'll get suspended."
I get no response and we both just sit there in the hallway.
"Alice, do you think I'm weird?"
I furrow my eyebrows.
"No. Why would I think that?"
"Because everyone else thinks I am."
I place my hand on his thigh.
"Taehyung, I like you. I don't care what no one else thinks."
He lifts his head lightly. He looks to me and tries to smile.
"You promise you'll be there for me? No matter what?"
