"X equals opposite B, plus or minus square root, B squared minus 4 AC, all over 2A!"
Taehyung slightly chuckles at my attempt to sing the equation.
"Do we have to sing it?"
"Yes Tae! That's how I remember the quadratic formula. We need to know it for our math test."
He softly smiles to me and looks back at his notes.
We're in the library by the window. I look outside to see that it's snowing a bit. I look back at Taehyung and stare at him while he's taking notes.
Why would anyone be so mean to him? He's so kind and gentle.
He looks up slowly and smiles.
"Hey, why are you staring?"
I blush slightly and look back to the window.
"Taehyung?"
"Hm?"
Still looking at the window, I bring my finger to it. The heat was on blast, so it made the window fog up.
I draw half a heart and wrote the letter A and the plus sign next to it.
I look back to him and smile.
"Complete the equation."
His eyes slightly widen and he slightly laughs at my little drawing.
"And if I get it wrong?"
I lightly hit his hand.
"Then I'll give you an F!"
He blushes and smiles widely.
He brings his finger to the window and completes the heart. He then writes the letter T, the equal sign, and then '4ever.'
He looks back to me and raises one eyebrow.
"Did I pass?"
I lightly squeal and clap.
I get up from my seat and lean over to him.
"Yes you did."
I give him a peck on the cheek.
He blushes hard and looks at me shyly.
I get back into my seat and we both look at each other awkwardly.
After a few seconds, we both burst into laughing.
"Alice, you're so lame."
I look to our little equation we drew on the window and cringe.
"Now that I look at it, that was lame."
We both continue to laugh, up until the librarian came by to our table.
"Hey you two. Please quiet down. Other students are trying to study."
She walks away and we both look at each other again.
Taehyung then smiles to me and then whispers,
"You're so lame Alice, but I like it."
