You were muttering under your breathe as you were trudging home in the rain. "Stupid Brianna, can't even help to drive me home...." You grumbled as you remembered on what happened earlier.

Your "friend", Brianna, had called you over to do your group project for bio (or is it science?) to study on "What makes makes people blush". Unfortunately, you were forced to do all the work because, little miss bratty over there, was so busy on Instagram, that she didn't even lay a finger on the project. What a useless bum. An obviously you got into a fight with a bully at your school, so afterschool detention for an hour. Great, even later.

As you passed a/an alleyway, you started grumbling about how your parent were gonna nag at you and ground you for the next week. You were wayyyyy past your curfew. "Thanks to stupid Brianna, I'm gonna get the grounding of my life."

"What are you worrying about doll?" Some dude from the alleyway asked. You realised that he was with his gang. Damn it. You forgot to bring your pocketknife. 

"Hey! I've been trained in karate, so don't you dare lay a finger on me!" You threatened. 

"Awww.... how cute. Little Miss bigmouth here is trying to threaten us... well, doll, your threatens are nothing compared to what we are about to do to you..." the leader, snarled as he slowly started to approach you. You started to sweat as you gulped hard.

"NOT BEFORE I DO SOMETHING TO YOUR FACE, FONG!" Someone yelled from above them. You saw someone, jump down from up above and gang and a huge battle pursued. There was a lot of punching and kicking. The stranger then attacked Fong, the leader you assumed and then attacked the rest of the gang. 

While he was attacking the rest of the gang, you noticed that Fong was about to knock him out. You stealthily snuck behind Fong just in time to knock him out before he hit the stranger. The stranger turned around and gave you a soft smile. Well at least that's what you made out since you were in the dark alleyway. 

"LOOK OUT!" Screamed the stranger. "Man he sure likes to scream a lot." You thought as you turned around and ducked in time just before a gang member knocked you out. The stranger then hit the gang member and knocked him out. Wow, the irony.

Soon, all the gang members were knocked out cold. "Ummm.... thanks for helping me, sir." You thanked the stranger. "No problem. Fong has always been a lot of trouble anyways." "Hey could you come out into the light?" You asked, "It's hard to thank the person if you can't see them cle-" "NO THANKS! I'm fine! Hehe" he laughed nervously. "And I gotta go anywa-". This time you cut him off as you grabbed his wrist. "Please just come into the light?" 

"Fine..." he sighed, "Just... don't scream."

As he came into the light, you then saw that his skin was... green! Further into the light he went, the more awed you were. Soon, your mouth was dangling. 

Thinking that you were about to scream he quickly said, "Welp... I shouldn't have done that. Gotta go now by-" "You. Are. Turtle." "Yes, I am a turtle. Now will you let go of me please?" "I love turtles!" "Wait, what? You're...not afraid of me?" "No! Of course not! I love turtles! And why would I be running away from the dude who saved me! Your awesome man!" You saying that immediately brought a blush to his cheeks. 

"I still gotta go ya know?"

"Oh... yeah..."

"K..so bye?"

"Bye I guess..."

Just as he was about to leave, you shouted.

"Wait! Can I ask you a question?"

"Ask away."

"What makes people blush?"

"Here. Gimme a pen and piece of paper and I'll write it down to you." 

"K."

You reached into your pocket and found a small piece of paper and a sharpie. "Here." 

He took a few minutes but he gave you the paper. Then said "the answer is on the paper" and hopped off.

You looked on the paper and it said, Andrenaline makes people blush. If you need my help, here's my number. With his number below. 

Maybe I will call him.
