Namir brought in two ceramic cups of tea.

"I'm good."

He handed her a cup. "Poured from the same pot, I'll even let you watch as I pour both of us another cup."

Taking the cup she sipped it slightly. "Thanks..." resting it on the coaster she waited for questions.

"So, which facility?"

"27, 63 men."

"Any other survivors? Usually you bring a team with ya."

"I believe they passed. It was weird because when I went into the Astral Plane they told me to go and find you. However, they made a copy of Agni and placed her memories inside the shell. Her original body died during the raid. I saw her cold body."

"These heroes that saved you... do you know their names?"

"Yes, they are the Justice League."

"Were you followed?"

"I don't know."

"Get some rest, you look like hell. We'll discuss it tomorrow morning and try and get a suit for ya."

"Yea, I got it."

"Don't stay up on watch, sleep."

"Thanks Namir, don't know what would have happened without you."

He chuckled and went to his room. The stars were out in the blackened sky. Jane curled up on the couch with a blanket. It didn't feel like she'd get sucked in softness but rather it was firm.

She slept.

---------------------------

"Kid Flash and Flash will have to take this one, possibly M'gann especially with the area don't show your powers to anyone. Find information in town and find this Namir and Jane."

"And what happens when we get to her?"

"She won't go back to the mental hospital let alone any white rooms anymore. Probably thinks we are now the enemy."

"Which we are not. Hell, she won't trust Bruce or Alfred. She'll continue to fight just like she was trained to do."

"Jane feels like she didn't have a choice. If the file is correct about the other side of her powers we're dealing with a powerful person."

"Superman could take her on, Hawkgirl too."

"What about the other one, the leopard. Do we have anything on him?"

"Just some bar fights, he won but spent some time in jail for it."

"Anything from that facility?"

"Nope, no record of him there. Probably another one."

"What are we even looking at here Canary?"

"Jane has other powers, from the looks of it quite unstable."

"And what ARE they?"

"Shadow manipulation and like the other files of experimental subjects, transformation."

"Like what?"

"Into a pup, giant wolf, almost human but the ears and tail give it away. She hasn't done transformation in a couple years so they could have erased that part."

"What about the shadow manipulation?"

"She forms these... creatures from the shadows around her. It isn't the only thing she can create, the blue energy she can make weapons out of."

"On a scale of 1-50 how dangerous are the creatures?"

"One of them, the blue eyed one is the calmer but the yellow eyed one is deadly, know to disobey her command too, feral."

"That's why they had the sirens blaring, to stop her if she tried anything. Jane was gripping her ears and had her eyes closed the entire time, sensory overload probably."

"Can we get something to have a leg up on her?"

"Pretty simple, won't take but a hour or two. We have all the data we need so we'll head out then."
---------------------------

"Mornin sleeping beauty!"

"What's the plan for today?"

"Hunting, need some fresh meat for the winter."

"Gun or teeth?"

"Bullet ruins the pelt, sell in town about every week."

"Could I come with?"

"Only in one of your other forms."

"Why? I'm more agile in this one anyway."

"Because one of those costumes Justice League could be looking for you. NOT IN THE HOUSE THOUGH!"

"Understandable."

"Don't burn any trees while your at it nor my shack."

Stepping outside a blanket of white snow was all over. She could see her breath in the air. Her eyes glowed a powerful blue flame covered her entire body. A large wolf stood in the snow, 3 times the size of a regular one it had a branding on its right shoulder. Wounds could be seen but were scabbed over, they were healing but they were deep enough that they would leave marks like the ones on it's back. It's piercing eyes and grand statue would make any grown man run in fear. Jane was no longer the weak runt but a powerful alpha who's pack has been long gone. Loneliness could be seen but strong enough to survive on its own the massive beast paced in front of the house. A small necklace could be seen hanging on its neck with something attached to it.

Namir came out eventually but he was covered in yellow flames before appearing as a larger snow leopard that had a long, wide scar on its side. Slender by old age the leopard walked slower in one direction as the large wolf trailed closely behind.

They walked for hours tracking down a heard of deer.

Blood eventually stained the snow as the collection of bodies grew next to the house. They skinned all of them and spent the rest of the morning hanging the meat in storage and letting the hides dry out after turning to a more human form but still covered with fur. Both of themed had teeth and fur covered in bloom but there wasn't any running water so they cleaned it off with snow.

After all the jobs were completed Namir took a nap as Jane read one of his books. It was many of his research journals and notes, what can you expect from an x-agent trained to observe? She got lost in them, page after page all Jane could think about was the past. Her head was still up in the clouds, a dangerous thing isn't a weapon but emotions. That was the first thing everyone learned. Control over emotions you won 50% of the battle.

Namir suddenly stormed into the living room.

"Engine!"
