"So how it is going with Caroline? Any progress?" I curiously ask as soon as I accept his call.
"The girl hates me, Cassandra. Please stop pestering me about her." he sighed
"Well, maybe turning her boyfriend into a hybrid without his consent wasn't the best movie. Besides, there's a fine line between love and hate. A man of your experience should know that." I stated
"Could we talk about other things?" he insists
"Like what?"
"Well, how are you? What's new with you?"
I scoff at his lame attempt. "Who cares about my boring life Klaus. I'd rather talk about what your next move with her should be." I propose
"Yes, I'm coming." he shouts at someone that probably isn't there. "I'm sorry Cass but I'm needed, I'll talk to you later." and then he hangs up.
For being a thousand years old he's actually pretty childish sometimes.

I had actually just come back home from university when a knock on the door catches my attention. Thinking that maybe it was Phoebe that forgot to tell me something, I open up without looking into the peephole.
What a mistake that was.
"Hello. Cassandra right?" he asks rhetorically
