A/N- I've been updating close to everyday my dudes so make sure you've read the chapters before this! Love you!

"Happy birthday mom!" I say walking into her room with breakfast. She rubs her eyes awake and sits up.

"Breakfast in bed? What did I do to deserve this?" She smiles. It's been about 3 weeks since everything happened. Me and Sage are surviving day by day. It's getting easier, but I still miss our baby. We had a little service, and in Sage's new backyard, we planted a Japanese Cherry Blossom tree for him or her. I still think that it would've been a boy.

Life, other than that, has been good. Great even. We stayed out of school for a few days to recover from everything. Shawn is getting better everyday and is at the new house. I've been staying with my mom like I said I would and occasionally, Sage will sleep over. It's already almost the end of February. Spring is hopefully just around the corner. Winter and cold aren't exactly my favorite.

"Thank you for breakfast." Mom says.

"Of course, happy birthday! Is it okay if I go over to Sage's?" I ask. She nods and sips her coffee.

"Just don't stay too late." Sage filled me in on all the things that Carter told him. I guess he can't get out of the life and I can't either. I don't know if I'm mad about it though. I feel like I belong in this gang life. The adrenaline and excitement, it's fun.

I go into my room and pull my hair into a ponytail. My once limp straight short hair has gotten longer and it's much healthier. I'm much healthier. I've gained muscle, and weight. I have a diet now and I eat regularly. I don't know how I didn't before, food is so good. I also work out everyday with Sage. We go on a run and then we have a routine in the gym in his house. I've gotten much stronger and training has been paying off. I'm meant for the gang. I was meant to meet Sage and join the gang. Yes, I'm officially a member of the gang. I'm Sage's right hand man, or woman.

I change into leggings and a tank top and grab my sweatshirt. I say goodbye to Daisy and make my way to the front door. Daisy is my puppy. Sage got her for me after everything. She's a little Australian Shepherd mix. She has a beautiful orange-brown coat and ice cold blue eyes. She's very energetic and I take her on runs sometimes. At first Mom was hesitant about me getting a dog but realized quickly how much she was helping me get through the loss.

I also have my own car now. It's a matte black Mercedes-Benz S-Class, curtesy of the gang. I get in and throw my sweatshirt into the passenger seat before pressing the button that starts the car.

Life is much better now. My father is securely locked up and though there could be gang drama, there hasn't been. I hope I don't jinx it but there's bound to be drama at some point, right?

Marie and Val are both in strong relationships. Val is dating Ross and Marie is dating Travis. We all frequently go on dates together. At first they ended with Sage interrogating Travis, but now they end with Sage fighting with Kian. Yes, Kian. He's been tagging along to our dates. He's single and says that he won't even bother us. But clearly Sage gets annoyed with him just watching us and saying how cute we are and making comments every second.

I start the drive over to Sage's house which is only five minutes. Technically it's actually Sage's house, not his moms. He signed the papers because of something to do with the gang and blah blah blah. I didn't really pay attention when he started talking about things that I didn't understand. It's kind of scary that he's a gang leader. Everyone in town and even out of town, know his name. They know who he is and they're scared of him. We went to a fair, and people were staying away. I guess that's good sometimes, but I know he's not mean, I'm not either. It just hurts to see people cower away from you.
