Jeongin practically dashes out the vehicle from excitement once Chan unlocks the vehicle door, he stares at the beige sand and sparkling sea with excited eyes. "Channie!" He looks at his lover with the biggest grin he could have as the blonde winks playfully at the younger as he pops the trunk to get their stuff, Jeongin holds the picnic basket- which had warmed his lap due to it being placed on his lap for the whole destination from their shared house to the beautiful beach. Chan grabs the beach towels and backpack full of necessities, closing the trunk and remembering to lock the car.

Chan follows Jeongin, who runs very fast towards the best spot Jeongin could ever name, in the middle of the beach. Jeongin gently places the picnic basket on top of the sand as Chan places the beach towels gently, placing them beside one another- the pink one being Jeongin's and the red being his. Jeongin couldn't help but quicken his steps and practically tear off the hoodie off of his naked torso, revealing the quite baggy baby blue swim trunks underneath, tied tightly (with the help of Chan) "Slow down there cow boy, you aren't going to enter the sea immediately anyways, you will need to put on sunscreen and wait for 20 minutes." Chan tells the smaller who shrink and pouts, nodding sadly as he walks to the pink towel to sit crossed leg with a pout. "Don't pout baby, you'll get to swim right after the sunscreen sinks into your skin, m'kay?" Chan ruffles Jeongin's head, making the younger beam back with happiness. "Okie!" Jeongin tells Chan, making the older smile softly and dig into the backpack, pulling out the yellow bottle filled with sunscreen. "Come 'ere" Chan says, making the younger sit in front of him crossed legged waiting for Chan to rub the sunscreen onto his back. Once Chan does, he immediately shrieks, "It's cold!" Jeongin shouts, grabbing Chan's hand. Chan makes Jeongin turn around and continues rubbing the cream on, ignoring the whines exiting his lover's mouth.

Jeongin straddles Chan's back as he massages the sunscreen into Chan's back with a streak of white sunscreen on his nose, he draws shapes onto Chan's back with the sunscreen, making Chan laugh as it tickles. "Hey bub, why don't you start rubbing it in instead of drawing? It feels nice but don't you want to play in the water?" Chan bribes the younger, who immediately starts rubbing instead of playing around.

Once twenty minutes past Jeongin immediately runs into the water, squealing once the cold water touches his milky skin, shouting for Chan to enter the water as well, Chan giving in and walking towards the water.

Jeongin splashes around the water, playing with Chan who shares laughter with the smaller. Chan attacks Jeongin's torso when he swims under the water, scaring the smaller who shrieks. "Don't do that!" The younger would scold the older, who doesn't take him seriously when he scolds with a pout. "Alright, baby."

After an hour of playing around in the water they go back to their spot and dry themselves, Jeongin shakes the water off his hair, like a puppy.

They then calm down the hunger in their stomachs with the picnic food Jeongin prepared, which were still a little warm surprisingly.

They realised that they may have spent too much time chit chatting and munching when they realised that the sun was setting, it's already 6.30pm? They watch the sunset with Jeongin's head leaning on Chan's broad shoulder as their hands link with each other. "Today was fun" Jeongin tells his soulmate, who hums and kisses Jeongin's lips with a smile. "I'm glad."
