Pansy's Secret Revealed

It's been a few days since Pansy found her wedding dress and since then she has been super closed off, even Ron can't get her to tell him what's wrong. Gabrielle was worried that something was seriously wrong with her. They had become so close during the trip to Fiji and Gabrielle considered Pansy to be one of her best friends.

"Babe, are you listening?" Harry asked. They were in the Great Hall for dinner. Pansy and Ron were absent.

"What?" She said. "Sorry, I'm just worried about Pansy."

"Me too, Ron says that he barely sees her outside of class." He said.

"I am going to find out what is going on with her." She said standing up.

"Sweetheart-"

"Something is going on with her and I am not going to let her shut down." She said before storming off. Hermione and Ginny followed her. They found Pansy and Ron in the courtyard. Pansy was trying to leave but Ron wasn't having it.

"Please Pansy, tell me what's going on?" He asked. Pansy looked anywhere but at him. Ron looked like he was about to break down.

"Ron, let us talk to her" Gabrielle said. Ron looked at them then back at Pansy. He growled then stormed off. Pansy tried to run but the girls were faster, they grabbed her and pulled her down the hall to the room of requirements. They brought her inside before Gabrielle made a chair appear.

"Incarcerous" Hermione said after they put Pansy in the chair. Pansy was now tied to the chair.

"Now tell us what's going on?" Ginny said. Pansy just stared at the wall.

"Do we need to use Legilimency on you?" Hermione said. Pansy's eyes widened before she looked at them.

"Don't" she said. "You don't want those images in your head." Pansy said.

"What images?" Gabrielle asked. Pansy's eyes began to fill with tears.

"Please, please just leave me alone" Pansy cried.

"Friends don't let friends go through things alone." Hermione said.

"You guys don't want to know!!" Pansy yelled.

"Did something happen?" Ginny asked. Pansy looked away.

"That's a yes" Hermione said.

"Hermione, be a smart witch and let it go."

"Did someone hurt you?" Gabrielle said. Pansy's teeth and fist clenched.

"Did-"

"You guys want to know what happened to me?"

"Yes" they said.

"You asked for it" she said. Pansy refused to look at them incase they looked at her with disgust or pity.

"Do you guys remember when Draco, Blaise and I went on a trip over the summer?" Pansy asked.

"Yeah" they said.

"After I ran off to Italy I met some wizards and witches and we hung out for a few days." She said. "There was this....one guy in the group who..." Pansy broke off trying so hard not to cry in front of them.

"I wasn't interested in him at all because he was a ladies man. I tried really hard not to be alone with him but life sucks." She said. "One night, I was walking home and....he grabbed me....he..." She couldn't say the words.

"He raped you?" Hermione said shocked. Pansy burst into tears. Gabrielle removed the spell and the ropes fell to the floor. The girls caught Pansy as she stood but fell to her knees. They all hugged her and cried with her. After a while they all lifted their heads to look at each other.

"I didn't want to tell anyone because I was ashamed." Pansy said. "I should have fought harder, I should-"

"Pansy, what happened to you wasn't your fault, you did nothing wrong." Hermione said.

"It was the sick bastard's fault so don't blame yourself for it." Ginny said.

"You no longer have to suffer through this alone." Gabrielle said. "We will be here for you always."

"Thanks guys"

"No problem" Ginny said.

"Could you guys not tell anyone" Pansy asked. "I want to tell them when I'm ready."

"Of course" Hermione said. "But you need to tell Ron, he should know." Hermione said.

"I know, he's never going to look at me the same way." She said.

"You should give him a chance to see if he will or not." Gabrielle said.

"Don't worry, I will kick my brother's arse if he looks at you differently." Ginny said making Pansy chuckle.

"I should go find him" She said standing up. The girls all stood with her and they all left the room of requirements and went their separate ways.

Pansy went in search of her fiancè. She looked every where she could think of but still couldn't find him. She began to worry until she remembered that his favorite place to go when he was upset is a tree by the Black Lake. She quickly hurried to the Black Lake where she indeed found Ron.

"Hey" she said coming and sitting in front of him.

"Hey" he said noticing that she had been recently crying.

"We need to talk" she said pulling out a letter she had received the morning after her dress appointment.

"Okay" he said.

"The reason I have been so distant lately is because when I was in Italy over the summer I........was raped. " She said wiping fresh tears away from her face.

"What?" He said shocked. She told him the whole story.

"The night we went on our first date he sent me a letter. It was the first time I had heard from him since it happened. It was horrible and crude and I didn't want it near me so I burned it. He has sent me a letter every day since but I haven't read a single one." She said.

"After it happened I left Italy and hid myself away in the house we are getting married at. No one knew I was there so I wouldn't have anyone touching me. I got what Muggles call a therapist and she has been helping me deal with my trauma." She said. "I still can't stand to be touched by anyone but you, my mum, and the girls but I am working on it."

"Why me?" He asked. "Why is it okay for me to touch you?"

"I have thought about that same question when I woke up in your arms the day we found out we are soulmates." She said before moving closer to him so she was straddling his lap. "I realized that it's...I...love you." Ron smiled before leaning in and kissing her.

"I love you too Pansy and I won't let anyone hurt you ever again." He said wrapping his arms around her.

There you have it. You now know Pansy's secret. I had such a hard time not crying writing this but I got through. Next chapter I will try to have more couples but I do have more surprise for you.
