chapter 5. ♡

the next few days at school were awkward between chinsun and beomgyu.

if they saw each other in the hallway they looked at each other, blushed, and walked to their next class.

"hey chinsun!" woojin exclaimed.

"oh hi." she replied and sat down next to him.

"where's jihoon?" she asked the tall, dark skinned male.

"he's preparing for his solo debut."  he answered.

"oh yeah. i forgot." chinsun said while sighing.

beomgyu stared at the small girl while softly nibbling his bottom lip contemplating when he should stop ignoring her.

'now or never.' he told himself.

beomgyu made his way to her seat and was about to tap her shoulder when, park jihoon ran into the room.

"i'm here!"

"we know idiot." woojin rolled his eyes.

"sorry promotions are getting rough right now." jihoon sighed and sat down in his seat, next to chinsun.

by this time, chinsun has pulled out her book and began to read, 'the fault in our stars.'

it was an english book, therefore it took her a little longer than it normally would to read a book. chinsun's parents forced her to learn english in her younger years, because her mother is american and they found it easier to speak in english.

chinsun didn't acknowledge jihoon's presence until, "hey chinsun!" he yelled in her ear.

she jumped in fear and smacked the back of his head. "yah! stupid head that scared me!"

"sorry princess." jihoon snickered.

chinsun looked at the boy in utter disgust.

beomgyu noticed the pair and couldn't help but feel jealous at their bond. although, he knew she liked him back.

"hey sunny, you coming to practice after school?" jangmi asked chinsun.

"oh yeah! i forgot about practice today. i'll just text my mom and remind her."

she pulled out her phone.

practice after  school.

mommy💜:
yes, i remember,

don't forget, mommy

"mommy?" jihoon asked stifling back a laugh.

"oh shut it donkey brain." chinsun sassily said.

beomgyu, who was listening to the interesting conversation, couldn't help but giggle at what she had said.

the trio looked back at beomgyu and he turned a light pink shade.

mrs. seo walked into the class, and announced, "class, today we have 3 new students again." she said sighing and motioning for them to enter.

there were 2 boys and 1 girl, who looked like the exact replica of the boy next to her.

'twins i bet.' chinsun thought.
