Sad ending epilogue and possible second book

Kennedys pov.

I look and see my best friend on the floor bleeding with axels head in her lap.she turns to look at me with sadness and tears in her eyes.She starts to mouth I love you to me and I nod before I grab the girls hands run to the boat and take off.I hear two gunshots from the house in the distance.When we get far enough from the cabin house I stop the boat and I break down.Shes gone.hes gone.everything is gone.We had nowhere to go and there was no more safe place and the last part of my past life was gone.just like that,like it never existed. life has dealt us a difficult and cruel hand and I don't see it getting any better.....
