Chapter 12: The Alliance

(Aio's POV)

We had arrived we all had formed a rough semicircle around Callie and Marie I looked around Agent 4 or Kage was beside me the other side was Octavia she worried me she was merciless when she had fought that inkling. Than the meeting started Callie was addressing us "as you all know something big has happened that is gonna change everything Agent 4 will you please tell them what you discovered" Agent 4 stood up "well as you who have gone on salmon run know the octarians, present company excluded of course, have a trade agreement with them but I have discovered that they now have an alliance aimed to get rid of inklings and defected octolings" he said.

(Octavia's POV)

"What!" I asked "believe it and the salmonids have been venturing deeper in the sea collecting different things from what I have no idea" Kage said "hold on...isn't Octavio still in the snow globe?" Aio asked "no he broke out last week we seriously need a stronger prison" Marie told us "so what's the plan?" Aio asked "we just have to wait and see Agent 4 will be keeping us updated so for now just wait and see" Callie replied "ok meeting dismissed" Marie said.

Back at the apartment after I had changed clothes Aio was still thinking "what's wrong?" I asked "I've been thinking what things beneath the ocean would Octavio want?" he replied I thought but then I realized something "what about the NILS statue?" I asked him "that could be possible it is a powerful weapon" he said I nodded but than he caught me off guard "so when you were unconscious what were you remembering?" he asked I paused panicked how did he know that I was having a flashback well I couldn't get out of this one "my memory, It was about me going to kill someone" I told him he was shocked as I could see "but he dodged me and I failed, I was also an elite octoling." I told him "ok" he said I was relieved I thought that he would hate me for this but i'm glad that he's so calm I wonder what was going through his mind right now.

Aio's POV

"She was an elite octoling!?!?!?" I thought panicking she just didn't look like it also she seemed too shy to be one and her hair was a all pink, though that would explain her combat prowess. I realized she was about to say something and payed attention "anyways i'm gonna call it a day see ya!." she said she smiled. My eyes widened as she went into her room when she said that I saw Her.
