Kim Jisoo POV

It was the week before the SBS Super Concert. Me and the girls were busy in the dance studio, practicing different versions of our songs in preparation for the concert and at the same time for our upcoming Japan tour. We also have photoshoots and videoshoots for CFs that YG-sajangnim gave us. A pretty nerve-wrecking week indeed. But today, I was assigned to go to the SBS building once more for the final script reading and runthrough as the next meeting will be on the stage rehearsal for the concert in 4 days.

As I went to the room, I saw director-nim and Jinyoung talking about something and V-ssi was not yet present. I greeted them "Nyeongan, Jinyoung-ssi and director-nim. Where is Taehyung-ssi?" I asked.

"He will be here in a few minutes. His manager texted me that they were stuck in traffic." Director-nim answered.

"Jisoo-ssi, director-nim told me the changes in the script so here you can copy the changes into your script. Director-nim will explain the details as you write it" Jinyoung told me.

"Thank you Jinyoungieee. Waah, how will I be able to write the changes if your penmanship looks like swirls and doodles hahaha" I teased him.

Jinyoung playfully slapped my hand. "Ya, Jisoo-ssi you are very very welcome" he said.

"Just kidding, thank you for the notes. Anyway, let's start the meeting to save time" I said. And director-nim explained and oriented me and Jinyoung about the changes with the performers and the lineup which contributed to major script changes. Director-nim made me and Jinyoung do a runthrough with our lines once more. Then the meeting concluded.

As the meeting concluded, a panting Taehyung just entered the room. He, together with his manager, apologized and bowed to us as they were very late with the meeting. I smiled at him to at least lighten up the mood that it's okay for me because what matters is that he arrived safely.

Director-nim decided to orient his manager regarding the program and schedule changes in the other room. He asked me and Jinyoung to orient and explain to Taehyung about the script changes in order for him to catch up. However, Jinyoung says he has to go so he couldn't stay and help.. He just wished Taehyung good luck. "V-ssi, I am sorry if I couldn't be much of a help to you right now as my manager is picking me up because I have a fan meeting to go to after this meeting. You are in good hands with Jisoo-ssi. If ever she bothers you, just text me okay. Good luck!" He said as he exited.

Hearing the news before going out, director-nim asked me if I have a schedule also after the meeting to which I answered "I have none sir. I'll handle V-ssi regarding the changes. I'll also practice and do a runthrough with him."

"Jisoo-ssi you are very much helpful. But if you are tired with all your schedule and all, you can take a break first" director-nim said.

"No, its okay. I don't have anything better to do in the house if I will go home anyway." I said.

"Okay but don't strain yourselves." Director-nim exited the room together with V's manager. We were left in the room looking at each other while standing. So to break the ice, I grabbed V's wrist to move him towards the sofa so that I can start the discussion with him.

We settled on the sofa. And he once more apologized as he feels that he has burdened me with the work of making him catch up with the progress that me and Jinyoung made awhile ago. "Hey you got to stop apologizing. I don't feel burdened and all with helping you catch up. In fact, it feels nice to do something productive with you rather than play games to relax at home" I said to reassure him.

"Okay okay. Thank you for the time Jisoo-ssi. I really appreciate all the help really." He said.

"Now to start, here are the notes regarding the changes, you can write it at your copy while I explain the details about it. How about that?" I asked.

"Sure, let's get started" he said.

As I explained the details to him, I was amazed on how fast he was able to pick up the details and adapt the changes in the script as we do a run through regarding the program.

"You know Taehyung-ssi, for a person who has no experience with hosting, you are doing very great." I smiled at him as I admire his dedication to this work.

"It is all thanks to my great teacher." He winked at me which made me laugh. "You know Jisoo-ssi, for a person who is exhausted, I admire how you still would want to be productive." He added.

"Why?? Do I really looked that exhausted? I should've put makeup before heading out here from dance practice. I'm really sorry that you got to see me like this—" I said.

"What? What are you saying? No. What I meant to say was despite of having jam-packed schedules, instead of taking some time off when you have the time, you'd still chose to become productive." He said. "You don't need to put make-up on really. You look beautiful just the way you are." He added.

I was stunned by his words as I looked him in the eye. He seemed to be sincere with what he said. And thanks to the ringing of my phone, the momentary silence was broken. I answered the phone and my frantic manager was apologetic right away "Jisoo-ssi., I'm really sorry but I won't be able to pick you up right now. YG-sajangnim assigned me to rush to the agency with Jennie for a meeting—".

"It's okay, it's okay. Please take care and drive safely. Please tell Jennie to not be nervous in facing sajangnim." I said.

"I talked to V's manager awhile ago and asked if they can drop you at your dorm after the meeting because I can't risk you to take a cab. But anyway, he gladly approved. But they will be taking a different van for you as safety precautions from the paparazzi. Okay, I got to go now, Jisoo-ssi. Take care, bye!" Manager-nim said as he ended the call.

As the call ended, I sighed. Then V asked me what happened. I then explained to him the situation.

"Well, since were stuck together for quite some time, let's do a run through once more before getting dinner" He said.

"Dinner? What?" I asked.

"I'll order panda express after we do a rundown of the script. Then after dinner, I'll drop you off to your dorm." He said.

"So our meeting isn't over yet?" I asked.

"Well not yet. Come on, let's do a rundown real quick. Then have dinner. So what do you want for din—"

"CHIKIN! Let's have chikin! Chicken!!!" I said enthusiastically which earned a laugh from him.

"Okay okay, I'll order the chicken". He said while laughing.
