Chapter 4

-Lin's POV-

"$@*#% You! Why did you have to build a hotel right there?!" Puro shouted.

"Now now, Puro. Give me my 300 dollars" I said, smirking.

"This game is trash! Why the hell do you both have 3 very good properties while I'm stuck with a cheap one?! This is cheating!" Puro yelled.

"No! Puro won't give you money! You're in jail! I won't give money to a criminal!" He shouted.

K sighed. "Puro, how many times do we have to tell you? When someone lands on your property when you're in jail, you still get half the rent. That place is 600 dollars, cut in half, which leaves 300 dollars. So, you have to pay Lin your rent" he explained.

Puro grumbled. "Fine..."

"See Lin? Do you understand by what I meant when I said that this game may ruin friendships? Let's stop this game here. I don't want to see you two fight." K said.

"Okay..." I obliged, picking up all the pieces, money and cards and put them back in the box which I kept back in the shelf. I brought back a pack of playing cards.

"Wanna play some cards?" I asked them.

"How do you play them?" Puro asked.

"There are many different games you can play with these cards, but lets start by playing the simplest game, which is bluff. I'll explain how to play. I think I remember how to play them." I said.

"What about you K? Are you playing too?" Puro asked Dr.K. 

"Yeah, sure. Why not. I don't really wanna work today anyways." K answered.

We quickly explained the rules to Puro and started playing.

--15 minutes into the game--

"5 Kings" I said, putting down my 5 cards facing down. I hope no one calls blu-

"I call bluff" K said.

"Dammit!" I said, picking all the cards from the deck. In addition to my 5 cards, there were 10 other cards. Now I have to take all 15 cards. Dammit K!

"Fine. 2 Aces" I said, putting down 2 cards.

"3 twos" Said Puro, putting down 3 cards."

"6 threes" K said, putting down 8 cards.

"Ok, that's a bluff. No way you can have 6 threes." I said.

"Oh really? Well, pick up the cards Lin. I do have 6 threes!" K said triumphantly.

"What?! How the $#&@! can you have 6 threes?!" I shouted, checking the cards. And there you go. There were 6 threes. So, I had to pick up all the cards from the deck again...

"This is Bullshit!" I yelled.

"No, this is called taking unnecessary risks" Puro said.

"Shut up Puro. You don't need to be a smart ass." I said back.

We continued on for an entire hour till Puro somehow managed to win the game.

"Beginners luck" me and K said at the same time.

"Hey! Puro won because Puro was tactful!" Puro said.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. Anyways, it's getting dark now. Hey K, do you wanna go back to the tower?" I asked him.

"No. I'm too tired to go. I already locked the door anyways. Come on. Does the TV still work?" K asked, switching on TV.

 "Oh, it does. Huh. Guess we're lucky. Buuut there's nothing on the TV, just static. So lets just turn it off." I said, switching it off.  

"You guys make dinner. I'm just gonna rest on the couch" K said, flopping onto the couch.

"Hey K, we never saw this side of you. Are you always this lazy?" Puro asked K, smirking a little.

"Shut up. I've been stressed for a long time. Let me get some rest" K said.

"Fine. Puro, come on. Lets go make dinner"  I said, going to the kitchen while Puro followed me.

I opened the fridge to look for spaghetti. I found it and took it out. I then dumped it in a bowl and put it in the microwave. I then turned towards Puro.

"You okay with spaghetti?" I asked him. 

"I don't know what it is, but I'll try it" He answered.

Sorry for a short chapter! I felt a little lazy today.... Also, I will be in camp for the next 5 days so.... I can't update then... But I won't discontinue! I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! Thanks for reading and always remember to stay fluffy!
