Chapter 24

Hoseok

Today I was with my brother and Jungkook. Both were dragging me along their mission to help Yoongi.

"He's over there" - Taehyung said in our mother tongue as he points the door to lounge.

Jungkook held a bouquet of roses behind his back. He looks at Tae and nods. With Jungkook first and me last we entered. Yoongi hyung sat by the burning fireplace. The atmosphere itself was always cold around him specially.

"What are you three muskateers up to?" - he asks while scanning a scroll.

Jungkook clears his throat and approached him.

"Hyung" - he shoves the flowers on his face. Startling Yoongi with wide eyes.

"WetoldHwayoungthatyou'dmeetheratthebalconyintheballroomin30minutesBYE!" - he made a run for it after dropping the bouquet on his lap. Taehyung drags me suddenly by the arm out the door.

Jungkook shuts it immediately and sighs laughing. Taehyung was panting and so did I. Our flash out the door went quicker than leaves flying in the wind outside.

"Well that was a succ--" - my words were cut off by the door knob turning.

With a split of eye contact to one another we bolted down the hall as we heard Yoongi scream at the top of his lungs as we made a turn right.

"JUNGKOOK!!!!"

Hwayoung

"Yoongi hyung would like to see you in 30 minutes at the balcony of the ballroom." - Taehyung said from behind the door.

"Wae?" - I asked. Hoseok was just smiling behind him.

"It's probably important" - Hobi oppa said.

Before I had anymore further questions Taehyung shuts the door. I was confused before realizing what I had been into. My cheeks burnt as adrenalined excitement came into me.

My heart started beating faster as I rushed passed my maids who were supposed to help me with my morning routine. They went after me as I devoured the closet. Catching the few I've unknowingly threw behind my back out of rush before I've stopped.

"Wait...what am I doing?" - I felt like I awoken from a trance.

I felt my heart beat pretty fast. What was I thinking? It could've only been about the mission right? I'm suppose to help him out anyway.

...

Once I was ready I walked to the ballroom in anxiety and excitement. I could feel myself almost skipping down the hall. I stopped abruptly and facepalmed.

"What the heck are you doing you pabo?!" - I sighed and just kept walking calmly.

As I walked I was in deep thought. I was too curious about what he was gonna say to me. One more thing I'm anxious about was his presence itself. I remembered how scary he was the time we first had breakfast together. I didn't see where I was going before bumping onto a chest.

"Mianhe!" - I apologized to Jimin.

"It's alright!"

"So..where are you heading?" - he asks in a bubbly way. His eyes looked like half moons whenhe smiles.

"To the ballroom balcony" - I replied.

"Oh? Wae?" - he asks curiously.

"Um..Tae oppa said Yoongi oppa wants to see me there." - he looked less eager as he was when he saw me.

"Oh..what for?" - he asks. His giddy expressions dullen.

"I don't really know. It must be because of the mission?" - I replied. He nodded and held my hand shyly.

"Kaja" - he grins softly and leads me.

"Wait! Where are going? I have to be there in 30 minutes!" - I asked when he runs the other way with me.

"Let's go somewhere first. I promise it would take only 7 minutes!"

Jimin

I took her to the roof of the palace where we could see a really majestic view of all our kingdoms. Hwayoung looked really impressed. Her mouth was hanging down in awe as she looks around.

"Jimin...this is..beautiful" - she says.

"I know.." - I stared at her.

"But...I better not keep him waiting" - she said and was about to leave.

"Wait!" - I caught her wrist tightly. She looks back confused.

My eyes widened as I let go of her slowly and scratched the back of my head and looked away.

"Mianhe" - I said, my cheeks blushing.

Her eyes flutter down to the floor. And when I hoped she'd stay...she started to walk away. My fists clenched and unclenched...I took a deep breath and sighed.

Not yet...I won't give up yet.

Yoongi

All the people in the palace are chaotic somehow. Maids and butlers ran from one place to another as I made my way to the balcony. I walked in the hallway and looked out the window. My eyes widens and I ran and I bumped into Hwayoung.

"Yoongi?" - she looks at me in concern. I passed by her and ran.

"Yoongi!!? Where are you going?!" - I heard her yell and footsteps running after me.

I ran out of the castle immediately to the stables. I rode my horse, SnowWhite, who carefully dodge the figure of Hwayoung swiftly. And rode to the Spring Kingdom in a hurry. We have taken to much time. The curse has begun.
