4 Seasons: The Winter Prince (BTS' MYG FF)

Chapter 25

Yoongi

As I rode my way to the Rose Castle, the cold air scratches my skin with its unforgiving cold. My nose and cheeks were unusually red. The cold has become bitterly colder than what it use to be. But that doesn't stop me.

This is my fault. My fault...it's all because of me..I reared Snow and panted heavily. I felt turmoil in the pits of my stomach. It was regret...fear..and pain. I gritted my teeth and clenched the reins.

I'm going to fix this..

I turned down south to the port. I jumped off my horse and walked towards the dwarves that ran this place. They greeted me and I immediately had a water horse readied.

I then left Snow to they're care. I went to a nearby food seller and purchased a few fruits and bottles of water. I am not ever going near any water source in that place again.

I went back with a ice-made satchel. I then got back to the port and rode the horse.

"My prince, are you not with the other highnesses?" - a dwarf said in his fairy language.

"No." - I replied. He bowed and back away.

"My apologies highness. Have a safe trip" - I nodded.

I rode the magical creature and held it's hair. I was about to ride off before I heard my name.

"Yoongi! Stop!!" - I turned wide-eyed and saw Hwayoung panting towards me.

Sweat was dripping on her face. Her limbs shakes when she stopped next to me on the port. My heart twists in pain to see her so tired. Did she run all this way for me?

"Hwayoung..go back. I'll be back soon--"

"Ani!" - she hoarsely said.

"Y-you're...you're taking this too rashly..you don't have to do this alone.." - she said breathlessly.

"I..I don't want your help." - I replied coldly.

"Ani!" - she grabbed my wrist. Her warm hand sends heat prickling all over my cold skin. Especially my cheeks. Her brows furrowed as she holds on to me tighter.

"Ani, you need my help. Yoongi...we're here for you. You don't need to do this all by yourself. You have me and your friends--no..your brothers to fight with you! You don't need to do this all alone...cause you have us to help you." - she said in one breath.

Her cheeks blushed very brightly as she feels herself getting in to her limit. Her eyes flutter tirelessly from exhaustion. My lips twitched to a smile. I got off the horse and it disperses back into water. She fell onto my chest. I caught her with no surprise.

I smiled and caressed her hair. Her colorful eyes disappear under her lids slowly. I wrapped my arms around her and sighed. A never wavering smile on my face.

"YOU MADE HER RUN 110 MILES?! " - Jin yelled out furious in fairy tongue.

"Hyung that was only 10 miles. " - Namjoon corrected. He huffed and glared at him. Namjoon looks away.

He carried Hwayoung in his arms who was sleeping soundly like a baby. I watched unfazed yet my anxiety and guilt pokes at me annoyingly. Jimin looked the most concern.

"We will discuss everything when she is taken cared of." - Hoseok said and let Jin calm down infront of him as he accompanied him to her room in the Rose castle.

Once they left all eyes went to me. Jimin had a huge frown on his face and marches off to his hyung. Namjoon sighs and holds my shoulder.

"Let's prepare dinner."

Namjoon

"Hyung..we understand how you feel..but doing this all by yourself isn't right." - I said to Yoongi who sat opposite of me.

Jin and Jimin were quieter than usual. Yoongi hyung was eating naturally like usual.

"I know you think that this is all your fault and you think that you should be the one who fixes it...But that's not all true." - I added. Jungkook nodded with a sigh.

"Yeah hyung..there are also other gaurds to be blamed with you...though..I don't exactly remember if at that time there were gaurds?" - he she said unsurely. Yoongi rolled his eyes.

"So yeah...it kinda is your fault." - Taehyung concluded. I shook my head and pinched my nose bridge.

"You two aren't helping" - I said to them.

"But...Yoongi, hyung, remember what the prophecy said. You need help and that help is Hwayoung!" - Hoseok says. Yoongi kept quiet this whole time.

Jimin stood up from his seat and walked out of the hall.

"I'm gonna go see Hwayoung" - he said without looking back.

Wow..that boy really cares for her. I glanced at Jungkook and Taehyung who looked at each other and Hobi.

"I'm heading to the spring stone. It's almost our time to go and gaurd it. Especially at this time." - Jin also stood up and left. I sighed deeply.

"You really need to apologize soon. When both brothers are much more calmed." - Taehyung told Yoongi.

"Noted" - he gets up and make his leave as well.

Almost everyone in this room sighed. I got up and looked at everyone.

"I guess we should go back to our kingdoms tonight." - they all agreed and got up.

Yoongi

I walked aimlessly in the hallway. And found myself at the front of her door. I could hear Jimin talking on the otherside. I lifted my hand to knock but stopped halfway.

I let it down and let it go. I looked down feeling empty yet confused. So confused to why I couldn't just get in and apologize quickly and leave. Why am I too hesitant to the thought of it.

And why do I change my mind when she's with him? I feel... I turned around and walked away. Thinking that I should just do it another time.

Taehyung

A day later, we had a special meeting with the four kings. They talked about our strategies and possible ways of ending this all. I was mindlessly listening as I watched Yoongi focus silently.

Hwayoung was all better but had to stay out of this matter for now for more rest. All away and out of stress. We had planned to start our journey in two days. Bringing a few troops with us as planned. Three each from each of the four kingdoms'best.

The weather and temperature had gotten even worse. Hard and heavy snow had finally come. A snowy storm of ice and darkness. The kingdoms' skies darkened and gloomed into eternal night. The fire is slowly becoming useless.

And our war has truly begun.
