Tony's POV

I've only been in the sanctum once, and that was five years ago when Thanos was a threat to our planet. Everything in the sanctum looked the same way as always, old looking, and smelled of wood.

I followed Stephen somewhere where I haven't been to yet. He continued to levitate over to some sort of library, but an old fashioned type. There were jumbo sized books that were worn out and had leather covers to cover the torn up brown paper pages.

As soon as we arrived there I lost Stephen in the many book shelves they had. I decided to sit on a nearby desk where I could wait for Stephen's "work" to be finished and we could go home to see Peter.

Stephen's cloak of levitation floated over to where I was and rested itself upon my shoulders. It wrapped itself around me and began to move me to where Stephen was.

"Hey! Put me down!" I yelled trying to wriggle out of the cloaks grasp. But it didn't budge until I was right next to Stephen who was very interested into a certain book. The cloak placed me down beside him and I dusted myself off. "Hey whats up with cloaky over here?" I asked pointing to the cloak who was hovering over my shoulders.

Stephen didn't look up at me and just ignored my question and continued to read his book. The cloak landed back onto my shoulders and I gave it an evil glare.

"You pick me up one more time and you're going up on eBay" I threatened it. I peered over Stephens shoulder to try to see what he was reading. But then I realized, the book wasn't even in English. "What the hell, why's this book not in English?"

Stephen looked at me, rolled his eyes, then looked back at the book. "There are other languages besides English Tony" he answered knowingly. I shrugged then continued to look over his shoulder.

"What's it say?"

I heard Stephen sigh pretty loudly in annoyance.

"It's a book on how to get your boyfriend to shut up." He snapped, I just smiled at how aggressive he can be when he is so deep into something.

I walked over behind Stephen and wrapped my arms around his waist, I then rested my head on his back so I could feel his warmth.

I sighed in content at how comfortable he was with his robe on. I felt myself grow tired and eventually closed my eyes to rest them.

Stephen then put the book back and turned around slowly to face me. I opened my eyes and gave him a mad look.

"You know I was just getting comfortable."

He smiled and hugged my body probably a sorry sign for snapping at me. I hugged him back with the cloak enveloping around us into a sort of burrito action.

Stephen began to comb his hands through my hair as I rested my head onto his shoulder.

"I need to continue to look for books with information, I can seriously send you home if you're tired?" Stephen insisted pulling away then looking at me with his eyes, the eyes that looked like glowing crystals in the afternoon sunlight on the ocean floor. Yeah I studied his eyes a lot.

"No it's ok, I'm fine." I replied with the most happy sounding voice I could make out. I was indeed tired, not because it was late since it wasn't, but because I just wanted to go home with Stephen, so we could relax together.

"Alright baby, you can stick around."

I smiled a cheeky smile before he let our lips make contact. He pressed me against the wall behind me, running his hands up and down my body. Things would have never been any better, until I heard someones familiar voice.

"Ugh guys get a room" me and Stephen quickly pulled apart to face Wong wearing a red robe, he was holding a weird ass book with chains around it.

I looked at Stephen giving him a face that asked 'why is Wong here?'. Stephen blushed a bit before talking.

"Yeah, thanks Wong for that" Stephen replied obviously annoyed. Wong fixed his gaze on me still wearing the cloak. I waved at him a short wave.

"Why are you kissing Strange Tony? Aren't you with Pepper Potts?"

I groaned annoyed since I forgot all about her and that she still existed in this world.

"Oh right her, yeah she's... we're in a tight spot right now" I lied knowing that Pepper thought we were still on good terms. "I guess you could say that we aren't exactly eye, too eye, too eye" I joked. I first pointed to my eyes then, pointed to where her eyes would be if she were here (thank god she's not), then I pointed to where a supposed third eye would be if you believed in that sort of stuff.

He just stared in my direction without even a reaction.

"You know... how we are in a sanctum with spirituality stuff?" I continued the joked, I then looked back at him for a reaction.

He didn't even blink.

"Jeez do you know how to take a joke?" I asked confused, Stephen looked down at me rolling his eyes.

"No, no he doesn't Tony, I've already tried to explain them to him." Stephen informed me, "plus that wasn't a really funny joke."

I looked up at him furrowing my eye-brows. "Yes it was, it was totally funny."

"No it wasn't, a sanctum is not about spirituality it keeps ancient relics and reality tamed."

I rolled my eyes. It was a funny joke no matter what they said, I said it so that means it's funny.

"Anyway if you guys are going to make out, do it where other people aren't aware of it." Wong directed walking back to an office area where a desk was with piles and piles of books on it.

"Peachy" I sarcastically said walking back to where the desk was where I previously sat. Stephen went back to where he was reading that one book.

I lay my head back on the chair I was sitting on. I felt myself start to rest, I needed rest since I rarely ever got it before I fell in love with Stephen. My eyes began to close slowly as the cloak of levitation wrapped itself around me like a blanket to keep me warm.

The warmth caused me to feel tired as I let one last heavy sigh before falling asleep on the chair, having myself be held onto by the cloak.

All I could think about was kissing Stephen, I hoped that was what I was gonna dream about.
