The King was on his way to the Sajeongjeon hall to have his daily audience with the royal court. Eunuch Jung who was assigned to serve under the King was following behind him together with officer Choi, the head of His Majesty's royal guard.
The officials immediately bowed upon seeing their majestic King enter the hall. Kim Sangkyung, the Chief State Councillor started the council by informing the King of the Ming envoys' visit by the end of the month.
